This is the most useless sentence in the entire discussion. According to this drones/locator shouldn’t be allowed to cancel the special module of tackler, because ONLY ECM ARE ALLOWED TO DISABLE SPECIAL MODULES.

What have you drunk? You only remove the afterburner nothing else. He can fly like he will, he can shoot, he can use modules. ALL but no afterburner!

It’s a debuff not disabling anything. The same with gravi. Gravi should block now too afterburner/same for slow missiles?

When you take things 100% literal this happens…theres something called irony you know?

And yeah you sayed it yourself, its a debuff not disabling anything (like microwarp, for your 2 sentences).

The engine inhibitor should Disable (inhibit the use of) anything more powerful than the normal engines, which it does, but it currently just does not stop a Warp, be that an LRF’s warp or a Recons. It would be interesting if it could also pull ships out of map and engineer warps which would make for more team-play options and a cool feature. 

No it wouldn’t, Tacklers are extremely powerful as they are. Inhibitor beam is extremely good module as it is, it has 1 sec cd to reapply, it has no duration, and consumes next to no energy, it’s effect is already strong for it’s price

The tackler still has to lock on to apply, so it’s really a little longer than 1 sec. For recons, just use your invis. 

xD seems like using 2 escape devices to escape only once. BTW my T3 tackler locks at 0,7 secs. With overclock it goes down to 0,4 secs (although its extremately weird that E2 has no effect when overclock is equipped: 0,4 lock time with or without E2)

Tacklers are pretty powerfull already, we actually have a plans for changes with recons to increase it’s value in the future.

Recons are balanced.

Tacklers as well.

Don’t make any decisions, which may disrupt such balance.

Recon > Tackler, if used properly.

On the topic of making more powerful modules,  lrf rt should make a large black hole where it was just before it teleported :stuck_out_tongue:

Perfect, just aim vaguely at the beacon and deny for 20 seconds. Only downside is that you’re stuck in there, unlike a destroyer.
