Mark 5 mechanic for Tier V only ( rank 13-15 ): (Workshop - not yet researched tag)
Tier V (rank 13-15) equipment: 30 monocrystals
Tier V (rank 13-15) module: 50 monocrystals
Tier V (rank 13-15) weapon: 70 monocrystals
Removal of restrictions or better alternative :
All restricted/locked weapons, modules and equipment blueprints are no longer lockable or obtainable in Open Space. You can still search and get them in Open Space, if you wish.
Now they can be all purchased for a hefty amount of Credits or Iridium instead, if you do not prefer to be forced to play Open Space. Amount of credits or Iridium should be determined by developers.
One important change for Mark 5Workshop :
after you learn the specific blueprint , it will normally unlock, like it does now
first time that you craft it, you craft it for a full resource cost , like it is now and it gets a Researched tag displayed permanently in your Workshop
same equipment in general, which was already crafted at least oncebefore , will now cost you 50% less in monocrystal currency only

I think the mono costs should be halved, mk5 upgrades are stupidly expensive at the moment. I know some people will cry end game blah blah blah, but the fact of the matter is not everbody can or wants to fly the dull open space missions everyday, plus most players will want to build the secret project ships which cost a lot.
The 30 to 45 monos you can earn in SC Leagues every week is a step in the right direction to solve this, but as mentioned in numerous other threads there needs to be more ways to earn monos. But I guess they just want us to grind even more now, so this isn’t going to happen. mk4 kits are extremely rare drops from pvp loot now, I have had 1 drop in the last 2 weeks! Voucher costs for mk3 gear has generally gone up!
…yes, monos for bp is good. Iridium…i dont know… hefty amount yes, since if you sit in a corp that hold many iridium places it practicaly grows on your face… huehue.
