implement new achievements for Open Space

For achievement hunters it would be good, if we could get a new section for Open Space achievements.

Another day, another “suggestion” by Koromac to get something pretty much for himself and a reason to show off how much he farms. What a time to live in.

If it helps one person it helps them all. The way this game works, you’d get the same pluses or bonuses as anyone else. I don’t see why this is so hard to grasp. If the tracker main module (hypothetically) was buffed to last for 80 seconds due to a suggestion I make, it’s not just benefitting me, it’s benefitting every other tackler pilot out there. But for some reason you always take someone’s suggestion and turn it around on them. If someone else made the same suggestion you’d say the same thing. You need to cool it.

This is not how it works, not a bit. For the most part, you (and Koromac, and quite a few other suggesters out there) come up with the ideas that would “benefit” (majority of the time make something completely overpowered) yourself or/and a very tiny circle of population, while not taking into account the rest of the game. Like this example you provided, that be absolutely opposite to be “beneficial” to absolutely everyone else except tacklers.

But for some reason you always take someone’s suggestion and turn it around on them.

not true, just because i turn YOUR suggestions, doesn’t mean i turn every ones suggestions, maybe there is a pattern?

If someone else made the same suggestion you’d say the same thing. You need to cool it.

wut

Part b and c kinda have to do with each other. Out of context they mean nothing. What I said was that you down both mine, and many others suggestions. It wouldn’t matter who suggested something like this; you would burn it to the ground.

Also I really don’t see what you’re saying at the top. It’s a bit hard to read.

The only reason that something wouldn’t effect you is if you had never used or touched the module/ship/area/etc that was the subject. Just because YOU don’t use something doesn’t mean it is solely suggested with their own benefit in mind.

It wouldn’t matter who suggested something like this;

mmmmm maybe the suggestion is the reason for me to do this? Do you think suggesting xxxx for the sake of suggesting is a good thing? I personally don’t think so.

Exactly my point, you have no idea how things integrate into a gameplay, be it a suggestion or already existing features, this game is complex of features and solutions, that interact with each other in direct and indirect ways, things like “i want more stuff” ain’t going to work

I still don’t see what you’re trying to say. I’m getting "you can’t suggest fun things that don’t effect gameplay at all because…? What? Adding a few new achievements will change literally nothing. It will effect you and 80% of the population in no way what so ever. It does not concern you, oh PvP god. I understand attacking an idea like a “massive ultimate kill all destructo beam”, but attacking a simple achievement suggestion is… I don’t even have a word for it. I don’t know what to say. I’m lost as to why you do what you do. Completely lost.

Well, you arent really known for having much of a concept of common sense arond here, are you, so I am not exactly surprised.

Well, you arent really known for having much of a concept of common sense arond here, are you, so I am not exactly surprised.

And here we have a fine example of a direct attack on a person.

Common sense is a lot different than legitimate knowledge of how some things work. I may not be Einstein when it comes to internal game mechanics or managing a community, but I know enough to know that 75% of the time you’re just throwing bs at us.

There’s no reason for this.

When you attack one of my outrageous crazy ideas, I will defend these ideas like I’m defending an old paper that I wrote in 15 minutes and put little effort in to; but when you attack someone else’s suggestion, whether it be simple aesthetics or a suggestion like this one, it really pisses me off. It really shouldn’t, but it does.

(read all, ignore all)

Well, I like the idea of achievements for learning blueprints, simply as a completionist thing.

The rest is kinda iffy.

(Also I ignored the whole argument going on - no point there)

That was the point.

The rest is basically there just to demonstrate some additional options for Open Space, but the main point was presented, even when it may looks stupid.

Achievements related to the title of this thread are the real deal.

It’s not a priority for now, but I think we will consider, at least partially.

Well, main point is written and I agree that the upper part of the post is worth considering.

Yes, it is.
