That’s ridicolous… 11 ping. And all the day you get games on russian servers. Stop spending money in ths game if you are from EU or Us. They have this advantage and will never tells you about that
Let me repeat myself: 90% of them are not better than you, they only needs to point, cliks and you are dead. We are experiencing xxxx server perfomance even on Eu servers…on a game higly related on ping. 50% or my shoots. are missing 'cause of that. Just ridicolous, you sell a game to the world community and the only working servers are on ru sides. Ridicolous as always. Jokes about russians always works 'cause of stuffs like that.
What kind of ping are you getting on EU servers then? I usually get something from 25 to 50, which is completely fine for this game, and there aren’t any frequent issues other than rubberbanding upon new players joining.

Best ping i can got on Eu servers? ( wich is a luxury on these days?) 40. And packet loss even if they are not displayed, also they are totally not depending on my internet. You know what happens?That half of my shoots completly miss. Not joking: half.
And for fs, i’ m not a n00b: i can aim.
I gaved up using shrapnel since it’s totally ping related.
Sometimes when i “lucky” hit (that’s sarcasm, i’ m not bad at all) with gauss on eu server (not only on RU firewalled servers) kills are being reported like 5 seconds after i’ve made them (ping mess huh). And usually i end up in first positions on my team score. You know that.
This is a game higly related to ping, and they makes tournaments with gs involved (gs costs real money)… Bullshits, stop spending money guys, they are just teasing you.
Edit: btw also lazors are affected by ping issues.

In this sort of contest, unfortunately the home team will always have a huge advantage. We will never get a fair contest unless the server is hosted somewhere ridiculous, like Antarctica, or at a LAN event.
I normally played with around 30 FPS, sometimes going dowm to 20 on some maps, which IMO makes it much harder to aim, though i cannot say since i never played on another comp. Though game looks very strange in videos, it seems to be kinda more seemless.
So if this can be related, i think Ping also might have a real influence on whether u hit or not. On the other hand Spongejohn u are still better than 90% else so stop complaining about fact that u cannt win ganist everyone.
In Jan 2015, I had 20 Ping on EU servers, and no packet loss. Just like them in RU. RU would give me up to 50 ping. Now, I am on 40-60 ping on EU and 100 Ping on RU, with at least 2% packet loss ALL THE TIME. There has obviously been some deterioration of the servers or the netcode to cause this.
It would be interesting to see a video of the same guy on a Russian server now, to compare.
Usually it should be no problem to get a game on an EU server during the day here. When I select EU server, 70 - 80% of my battles are on EU servers.

I have no hard feeling about that match, I don’t even remember when it happen and why. I don’t need a rematch since they are good players with good fits, good tactics, good experience. It’s ok to loose against ESB.
But what sounds astonishing ugly to me is seeing that ping. Seeing that means: no matter how you try to improve, no matter how you will go trough your logs to see what is the most effective fit, or whatever effort you makes. Even medium skilled players (not talking about Mowant etc), will have an advantage like that. Forcing me to use always the best fit, and to choose only some sort of weapons that will gives me less disvantage since some of them are way too much ping dependent.
And that’s what makes me angry, also consider that no matter if I choose EU servers only: 80% of games are played on RU.
Apart that, connection on EU server become ugly since last month.
I get rage or other messages after blowing people up on consistent 400 ping servers since the best one is South Asia at 167. Man do people complain on that server XD Lasers aren’t bad with ping, unlike projectile weapons where if you miss the lead indicator your shots go 400ms behind the target…with low ping, you may still hit esp with singularity or other big weapons. I find with lasers (or any weapon really) if you are hitting someone during a rubberband lag spike, they will teleport back and blow up because you were still “hitting” them during the spike.

If you pay for a 20 Ping tour you can spend 1 week in a hotel where you get 20 ping to the Ru servers for a week. Optionally you can book a PC for that too.
I’m going to make a video showing how bad it can be; I usually have a ping between 60-99 these days on eu and ru servers (some ru servers 198) AND packet loss sometimes, mostly around 2%. But anyway - what disturbs me the most is this; You have a fat - distracting - target circle, leading your focus astray since hitting inside the circle DOESNT register as an hit (EVEN with computer aiming assist OR ping prediction enabled)

People love to brag about their lightning reflexes and skills, but seriously, that’s not gonna help you one bit if there’s is a server delay that thinks your target is in a different place than what is shown on your screen.
That’s why I gave up and stay in secure, average players club.
IF you think that some “mediocre” pilot won because of 50-60 ping advantage, you have bigger issues to focus on. As long as you got < 140 ping, you are pretty much on equal ground, the difference is minimal. The only thing that 10 ping lets you do is 260 rotation interceptors, but those that know how to fly these well are nowhere near to be “mediocre”.
YEs, some pilots, due to where they live and that b1tch “physics of real world” are bound to have high ping, but again, take a RicePirateX as an example, he would pick an interceptor on RU server with his near 300 ping and not giving a single xxxx about it and still come out on top, so yeah - GG.
I had high pings before, mostley coz of my crsp net (had a shitload of DC’s). But I think Kosty it right, everything below 140 is playable. The thing that anoys me last few weeks is that I have EU server set, but keep getting a lot games on RU/US… One day I played 10 games & 8 of them were on RU/US servers. My ping there goes over 300 & I get a lot of DC’s there.
