Hull Debouncer

I know this sounds weird, but hey, it’s one of the very few suggestions I have.

Module Name : Hull Debouncer

Slot type : Hull

Slot Tier: T3 to T5 only

Ship Class: Frigates only

Ability

Increases ramming damage by 25% for each one equipped. with an additional amount based on the speed. Does not increase collision damage to self.

(Reduces ship hull volume by 10% OR reduces resistance to hull by 15 points) for each module.

Calculation I came up with:

Damage multiplier : ((speed * 0.5) /4 /100) + 1

Damage speed multiplier does not stack. And multiple the collision damage.

So say I have my T-Rex Mk II that goes 375.

((375 * 0.5) / 4 / 100) + 1 = 1.46875

I would get an additional 46.87% damage.

Or my secondary calculation: (Reduces multiplier damage by 5% for each hull slot, so 3 hull ships can’t stack them to be OP But could be disliked more)

((375 * 0.5) / 4  / 100) - ((HullSlots * 5) / 100) + 1 = 1.41875

Basically an additional 36.87% damage because of 1 of the hull.

If we put the second calculation on a Naga with speed of 244.

((244 * 0.5) / 4  / 100) - ((2 * 5) / 100) + 1 = 1.205

Mk 2

 - an additional 3% damage

Mk 3

 - an additional 3.5% damage

Mk 4

 - an additional 2.5% damage

Basically it would add more ability to start ramming ships.

I can almost guarantee people will dislike this idea, but it’s worth putting it on to see. (PS. Comic sans)

Always up for ramming.

Ram Girl, Dodge Dad.

I think the correct terms are

RAM (Random Access Memory) Girl, Doge Dad.

Yus. Tho I see this being useful on many ships, especially since I do most of my ramming in my Rockwell or GE.

already forwarded - double thread

doesnt seem like to be suitable as ramming happens way too rarely

Because it’s weak. This would make ramming much more common.
