Lore: Upon revelation of a secret pirate project, the code for a very nasty virus was released to the black-market for mercs to buy. If a passage to onboard computer systems is found on an enemy ship, the user can inject their own code in to their system. This code will reset the crew’s implants and grant full control of the ship to the user. Though because nobody is controlling their initial ship, it is destroyed to keep the code secret.

Tooltip: The locked target within 1,000m whose hull volume is <20% will be taken over after 5 seconds. The user’s ship is destroyed.

 

So, I can control a brave that still has 40k hull left if its total hull volume is 200k?

Yup. And it’s healing modules would still work, so after a bit you’d find yourself with a fully-functional Desttoyer! (Only until you die or the match ends though…)

If that thing were allowed to exist, I’d demand a ‘turtle module’ to compensate for utter nonsensical modules.

We had the same idea in mind some time ago. But the designers team still can’t agree on it’s mechanics, so, no promises here for now.
