Helix Missile

A Helix Missile is a weapon system that works with fighter craft. 2 missiles are ejected from the sides of the ship before their engines fire, these 2 missiles then travel toward their target in a spiral pattern, with a conventional missile’s path as their axis. The two missiles combined are approximately the same damage as a single conventional missile, however they have a chance of one of them avoiding any small obstacles in their path of travel. Because of the missiles being ejected before their engines ignite they do not break the cloaking effect of tackler class fighters, however their targeting system and exhaust interferes with the ship’s cloaking device causing the Helix Missile’s exhaust to glow brightly along its entire length and the cloaked ship’s speed to be dramatically reduced for several seconds.

Missile is good. Concept is nice. Could probably do slightly more damage than a normal missile? Also the slowing effect is unnecessary. Yes for missile you can use under cloak.

its an interesting functionality, idk what else to say before thinking it better. Lets see what devs say.

I think he meant that you get slowed down only if you use the helix missile while cloaked, and it’s a nice idea.

Cool concept, +1

While it’s nice to have new ideas, but what is/should be the backdraw of this missile(especially considering its + for not decloaking AND being the second special missile)?

Maybe slow speed/maneuverability, and low ammo count.
