Gunship overdrive

so you just made a long winded post confirming what I said. The only three possibilities here are that you wanted to bate yourself, that english isn’t your first language and you’re from somewhere that has the wrong method of thinking, or you’re just dumb. I’m leaning towards the first two as germans have a bad habit of pushing the superiority thing and starting wars they can’t win for the wrong reasons.

But you mentioned bringing 2 damage types, and I proved to you that guards have the high resists to to take the damage from a gunship 1v1 even if they bring two damage types.  The special module adds 150 resistance points and gives you 20% damage for 5 seconds if taking the damage type that is being dealt.  My build is the exact same on my guards as omega’s and get resists around and over 110 reducing damage dealt by over 50%

 

guards can only block one kind of damage at a time. Therefore have two types of damage on your loadout.

Not necessarily.  Most good guard builds have over 100 resists across the board.  I know mine do.

(The name calling is strong with this one.  Again, I was talking about how a good guard build won’t rely heavily on the phase shield, and thus disproving that your original comment because two damage types won’t matter on your gunship.  Omega came in after this trying to elaborate, but you were still under the impression that we were trying to say that the phase shield doesn’t work or whatever and proceeded to name call some more.)

 

Is English your first language?  I thought that whole conversation was easy to understand but you misunderstood what we were talking about from what I am seeing.  I’ve flown with and fought against Omega before, and he is by no means what you were suggesting, he is a cool dude just like most of the WPK crew.  (except when they use ecm and aimbots in sec con  :00555: .  Not very nice :P)

For the sake of countering the Guard Phase Shield, it is better to equip a primary and secondary weapon with different damage types, yes.

 

BUT, a good Guard pilot will anticipate this and boost his shield resistances to damage types he expects to encounter (using passive modules) so that even when his Phase Shield is not modulated to the exact damage type he is receiving, it won’t rip him apart instantly.
