Because of Destroyers and the fact that they exist, Guards need an overhaul of speed and power. I agree that Guards are already very powerful, but when compared to Destroyers, the simply don’t make the cut. Destroyers are the new Guards.
I suggest that Guards be given a module or ability that greatly increases speed, or simply warps them. A Guard-Ram module would be great, and that has already been suggested on multiple occasions. A simple low-warp ramming system that also lets Guards move around faster.
Also, they seem to be even more vulnerable as of lately. Guards are being weakened because people complained too much. And now that Destroyers are here, they are even weaker. Guards need a serious rework, much like the LRF class dos a while ago. Tweak until it’s perfect and keep the new material coming. ^^
Guards are fine as they are now in terms of speed. The bonuses for the resistances needs to be tweaked, otherwise have a longer cool down so players can’t switch so fast. That’s all I have to contribute.
