We are expecting the Trading System. We already know some facts about it. It will require GS and you will need to pay the tax for each transaction or offer that you accept.
Many people do not have any GS currency.
There are means to acquire them in game, through unlocking achievements, winning Sunday’s Tournament or getting tokens from GS sectors, if a corporation owns it.
To avoid getting too many obstacles and luck-based scenarios, I propose, that players get new contracts for all 3 standard factions - Empire, Federation, Jericho.
Ellydium faction is excluded from such contract. Contract cooldown period for each faction is 24 hours or 1 day.
Such GS contracts can be completed in all game modes - PvP, PvE, Co-op. You only need to have ships of rank 6 or higher.
Proposed contract for all 3 factions: Win 10 battles in PvP, PvE or Co-op on rank 6 ships or higher.
My 45cents: You value things you buy more than things you get for free! In a way if the players with no GS would at least buy a license the hole game would benefit. Paying players (or promoted ones ”) are more connected to the game and would less condemn it, imho.
GS for speeding up progress is free choice for everyone. For that matter GS should -strategically- be rarely spent in the game.
first of all, combine “Tournament” and PvP in the usual Tournament times, that is, you can still play tournament, but all the pilots will be able to get gs in that time if they play pvp. Only during this time squads of higher than 4 people can join PvP in wings, and the mode for the entire hour will be set to team battle. Also, remove the wins-system and just say for each win during that hour you get 75 gs, etc. Like the “golden battles”, but you egt a fixed amount with each win, no exponential values. Also divide the tournament during that hour to 3 tiers, as it is now in pvp, and let pilots in rank 12s or higher have tourneys as well. This will encourage more people to play. To avoid having an overhaul on T5, but rarely any people in T2, make it so that 75 gs is for any win and ANY tier. During the rest of the day, leave pvp as it is.
