Engineers don’t start with their drone complement. This is a little odd because no other role’s special requires a warm-up time before it can be used at full effect, and the warm-up time being 40 seconds is really not trivial. When fighting in your own spawn or using a warp gate to get to the fight it’s pretty easy to turn up with no drones.
