I’ve noticed that destroyers keep their current speed, down to a fraction of 1m/s, so it is impossible to park in a single location without slowly drifting. I suggest adding in the mechanic that automatically brings other ships to an actual 0m/s.
I agree. I just don’t like it to have to press W and S until it gets to 0.
Oh I replied 1 minute after creation.
<< Not having a job and life is confirmed.
I have the same problem.
Usually.
I would like it if it decelerates to 0m/s automatically only when the speed reaches a threshold of 10m/s or so.
There’s an even better idea!
noo!! i like the idea of a more realistic physics in the game. But i agree a “stop key” would be really good, i would give it a lot of use.
I figured out that if you set a relatively low speed and position yourself between two objects you will just bounce back and fourth between them. It’s kinda funny. Xp

ROFL! I have to check this!
Yes, we need a handbrake, to be able to do destroyer drifting!

It won’t look cool without engine trails though. :[
Doesn’t the blank key automatically reduce the speed to 0?
Don’t have a destroyer yet, so I’m asking this if it broken for destroyers.
No, there is no way to reach real 0 without not moving to begin with. If you just move with the wormhole it is zero.
