+1 to OP, even if Georgia isn’t that big, the game need more flags and symbols, because in the end, it means more money for the devs and let us customize our ships with symbology that actually represent us. I can’t comprehend why there’s the Chilean and the Uruguay army logo and not the Argentinean one, even if we have plenty of russian “colonies” (towns with a freakton of descendants) and well, we ain’t that small you know. I WANT MY FLAG!

Any political discussions never end well. There are countries/groups that took away something from another country/region somewhere in human history … that is human nature.
But FliegerPanzer should have wrote the request differently, not assuming they didn’t forget but just nicely asking to add it without giving any incentive for discussion whether it should be there or not.
I did not want to post this in other way because I know nature of bears. Also I know Gaijin nature, I did not post something badly here, not my fault if some bearians got this badly, just I wanted to know, its just very interesting, symbol of Georgian region and not of Georgia, same as to put flag of Saxony and not Germany… Ok I can still post this in other way in different section where people reads it more (devs)

First of all, you read it wrong, I never said my country is a colony, is a full pledged country, and a vast one. I were referring to the fact that plenty of european immigrants have come here, and there’s a lot of russians amongst them. Read again, thanks.

As we all know, the Qing dynasty is the last dynasty of China (and that’s legitimate). When the Qing dynasty fell, the nation became officially known as the Republic of China, and that’s legitimate as well. But things become sticky when the ROC had to flee to Taiwan due to an uprising. Taiwan is essentially what’s left of the original ROC. The ROC’s political rivals then formed the PRC, which was not recognized at first upon its formation. Gradually, other nations began to recognize the PRC and not the ROC.
This is what I know from one of my teachers who lived through the Cultural Revolution as a student.
Most people I know see PRC China and Taiwan as two separate sovereign states. The rest are largely ‘apathetic’ but it makes perfect sense to me; as long as the people are benefitting, it doesn’t matter to them whether their country is legitimate or who the state leaders are.

you know after seeing this thread it kinda makes me wish they would remove all “Flags” from the game.
also we are sposta be in the distant future… why do we have flags on our ships of some ancient time??
So take away flags and give us better looking stickers and better paint schemes and more colors to choose from!!!

Good idea. They added Soviet flag which makes nonsense for me though. Removing all of them would be nice if they dont add all or add defacto ones. SO why we need flags in future where here are 3 empires only in this game plot?
