fatal error when starting the game

Hello,

I’ve downloaded yuplay client. After that client has downloaded and installed all necessary files. When I push “play” I have “fatal error - can’t initialize render materials”. Following instructions from manual I enclose screenshot of error, and 3 log files. I can’t add them as attachments so I must copy the content into this post. Sorry for big topic

It looks like some files got broken, could you try to redownload and tell me if the problem still appears.

Did redownloading help?

I’m afraid it didn’t help:/ I still have the same problem. Any ideas?

Grafic drivers up to date?

About my graphics drivers it’s quite hard to have it up to date. I have Radeon x1950 pro and latest drivers are from 2010  Maybe in 1-2 weeks I will change my graphic card to new one and maybe this will help.

Hope we will find a solution for your problem.

Im having the same problem, all my GPU drivers are updated.

from game log… seems either graphical problem (Shader?) or the graphic file corrupted (it cant load it)…

maybe try set your shader in your Graphic card controller program as “Application Decide” ?

or if corrupted files, no other way but re-install again…

I reinstall the game twice and set the GPU options to “Let the app decide” but i still have the problem.

I’m having the same problem.

“can’t initialize renderer.Curret d3d device is not supported the game”.

Seems graphical problem , some solution (not guarantee works, but used works)

try get newest driver for the graphic card, then uninstall the old driver (along with the controller if any) and re-install the new driver manually…

how to remove drivers for XP (make sure the new one works before remove it) : control panel > system > hardware > device manager > [find the driver you want to remove] > uninstall driver

you can remove the graphic controller program using add/remove programs or hit the uninstall shortcut for that program(if any)

also dont forget check if your D3D switched on and working properly at Run > Dxdiag > Display

some case the graphic controller program maybe could messing with the graphic, try make it not auto-run at windows startup (so the driver gonna work by default without controller program influence)

how to remove startup : (XP) Run > Msconfig > startup > [find the program name] > untick the V box on the left

easier if you have external program that works as startup manager

that what i can give… if still not works… god bless you…

I have no video card.

tell me… has your computer meet requirement in manual page?

Try this

1 Un installed all gfx drivers

2 Un installed directX

3 un installed netframeworks

4 un installed java

5 Uninstall game

Download ccleaner and clear Windows and then repeate for applications and then goto registry and clean. Repeat untill finds no errors wrong with any of them.

Next restart system.

If your system says installing drivers or is asking to update cancel this.

Download them from ATI website or Nvidia website.

For the rest of the uninstalled ones you can get all the driver and upto date ones from http://www.filehippo.com/

This has both x32 bit and x64 bit drivers for netframe java direct x

Once you re installed them all restart your system.

Now re download the game use torrent its easy and fast. http://yuplay.com/torrent.php?id=3206

then run the exe it gives and download the game install then do the 700mb update and then try to play game.

If you are still getting problems after this please let me know. And I can do a more in-depth search to solving

tell me… has your computer meet requirement in manual page?

yes I have all the requirements except the video card, mine is on-board Intel (R) G33/G31Express Chipset Family ultiliza she motherboard 1g. I think the problem is just the d3d.

can you tell me what the best directx for the starconflict. Serving on windows 7 start.

i think lot of programs not recognized intel onboard graphic… i wonder if that the problem…

and… should directX in 7 already better than XP…

i think lot of programs not recognized intel onboard graphic… i wonder if that the problem…

and… should directX in 7 already better than XP…

Well i ad tp upgrade to 7 cos my gfx card would not work proper on xp lol have to use direct x 11 for card and 9c for pc mad as a fish if u ask me

I looked in my pc’s assistant who said:

Some applications and games require DirectX 9. However, Windows 7 comes with a newer version of DirectX installed. If you install an application or game that requiresDirectX 9, you may receive an error message like: "The program can not be started because d3dx9_35.dll is missing on your computer. Try to reinstall it to fix this problem."The last two digits of the file name may vary. If you receive the same error message afterreinstalling the application or game, go to the Web page of the web installer DirectXEnd-User Runtime and follow the instructions to install DirectX 9 and receive updates to DirectX 9 and earlier versions it.

Tried and failed

I can test on another computer?
