It is as it sounds. If players have alts, fine. I get the need to restrict these to an extent. But players who go through the effort of linking their Steam and Gaijin accounts tend to have those be their main accounts that they play on the most. These accounts should always be accessible, regardless of what alts they’ve logged into on that computer.
The restriction also has the potential to force players to start over completely if their computer breaks and their other computers are only used for alts, since they have to use that computer for them.

For this case we have the support team that can fix this issue if it ever occurs.
It is not that difficult to get more than 1 steam account and bypass the system then.
That seems like an awfully large amount of work to go through to get around the system. I would hope that at some point the amount of work reaches a point that is no longer desirable for people looking to bypass the restriction…

I played games where people set up proxy servers because there is an account limit per IP. There will always be players that use every chance to gain advantage.
