Don’t worry, I can bring you some bacon
Or just hide the sweetrolls under your chair
You mean bring bacon covered sweet rolls with hot sauce?

Not sure about the sauce, but I can do the bacon covered sweet rolls.
???
What do I hate?
And like you said in that post: Dont whine so much because you dont have full purple… I guess most of us dont have even ONE full purple ship (yea, i could build one. but it would be a silly build).
Imo, only a few modules give a great advantage over MKIIIs those are especially the repair modules because of the highly reduced reload time.
I really dont know why you are so angry…
Btw.: Compare!
MKIII
Experimental
So, DPS-wise: 2312 to 2376 (irrelevant for that weapon). DMG-wise: 2707 to 2782. Thats exactly 75 points of DMG more youre doing… not to mention that bit more if you ask me.
It’s the active and passive modules that matter, except on LRF. The passive’s performance is generally great except the compromise modules. For actives the cooldowns are great and the ranges are great. The main weapons actually got the short of the stick when it comes to boosts. It’s only a damage per shot improvement. If they minimized spread as well it’d be something, increase range would be amazing. I want purple modules, I don’t care about the weapons.
And weapons. Huh, boy, those just skip a whole Tier of fun when they go purple.

I have TEN. xxxx. EXPERIMENTALS. NONE of them are weapons! The hell you want me to say? When I compare damage outputs from blue and purple weapons on the field, purples are dealing around 20-30% MORE damage on the same ship with the same fit. Hence why I said it’s a whole new Tier of bad. A little boost? On paper, sure. On the field? No.
On the field if it makes more dps than the written dps, its because the ship has bigger survivability thanks to that, he can shoot for much more time etc. I would believe the weapon damage written in the tooltip until disproven.

The exact same ship with the exact same modules. The only thing that changed was the weapon.
And still. If i kill a ship 70 damage faster, and it dies because of it and i dont, that means i can shoot for more time.
You’re missing the point, but that’s fine, I wouldn’t expect you to.

No, you are missing the point. Lets assume the tooltips dont lie. Than having more DPS difference than noted must be something from the outside. I tried to find some reason. You are certain tooltips are bad. Its pretty easy to confirm by anyone access to the inner workings of the code.

Don’t forget, the higher the DPS from the weapon, the higher the effects of modules on it are as well.

Hence the 20-30% boost in overall dps.
On my Guard, I get roughly 2-5k hits from a Mk3 bubblegun. Experimentals fly all the way up to 8k. This considering I already have 180 EM resists.
Why are we complaining on the forums instead of banning together and kicking ESBs butt?
:bomber:
You’re right, we should be banning ESB! Get to it GM’s! :taunt:
And I’m slightly too busy actually getting mk3 mods to fight them.

I see you wont understand it. Ok than, have it your way, ESB are cheating, purple are OP. Just maybe, maybe try to read my text once again. Please. I still have hope you can get it, if you really try.

Thats not true. If blue DPS is X and purple DPS is Y, and you have that ratio (Y/X, lets call it R), if you multiply both values by the same number R will not change. If you add a number, the ratio will actually go down. So it never explains Oryngton’s 20-30%.
I think Ory needs to get his head out of his butt and play better!
