not wanting to sound like the grinch complaining about xmas, but i have the feeling, giving the useless covert ops special weapon to everybody, would not help that role atm. very much, becoming more than the designated dogfight vessel.
not that i have any problems with it per se; for me the CO is ideal in terms of abilities, well rounded, and the best ship to be abused solely as 1vs1 skilltesting machine, where you only watch mobility, tank and damage output, especially because nukes were always either OP or a joke, as far as i remember, depending on patch, while other classes have too serious side roles to be equipped solely to hunt for lost sheep in the crowd, so you basicly always go for rockets on that role to keep being close to useful.
i feel no enwonderment, that it is the role with the most controversial discussions all over the forum so i don’t wanted to plant another here.
i think, a nuke fest would be fun, especially to get some of the more hard achievements, but i am not entirely sure, what a light it would shed atm. on the CO and it’s almost useless special weapon, which is like the only ship you probably would not equip with it, even if every ship can carry it.
I vote neither pro nor con. I would love such an event, but I see clouds in the bright sunny sky anyway all the time.

I would say it will be really funny to see come true, with all those ships around blowing up. but how would we know if players might crash they game from so many nuke explosions.
(because they have a bad pc and internet network, deal with the truth…)
