during events: halloween, christmas, etc…
have ships drop cargo, which you need to ‘pick up’ like a bomb, etc…
the loot can be ship modules, credits, etc…
if you’re looking for a hud color/icon indicator, make it gold. enemies = red, friendlies are blue.
player-specific of course. no free-for-alls…
I second this idea. It could, potentially, inject some life into the game again.

Sometimes I think it’d be funny if, in the middle of a PvP, a rediculous overpowered ship [or even a dreadnaught] just flew in and assaulted everyone.
