Ellydium Daily Assignments Are Too Grindy

I think that given requirements for Ellydium daily assignments or contracts are too grindy. It takes too long in general to complete a single contract.

Cooldown duration for such contract is 6 hours. Reward for these assignments is 4/6 Xenocrystals. They can be done 4 times in one day.

 

Weekly Ellydium contract gives 30 Xenocrystals and 45 with a Premium license. I am not sure what to say about this one.

 

Some daily contracts that are too time consuming or grindy: (there are also other contracts, but I never got them)

 

  • Win in 10 missions. Requires a rank 9 ship and higher.

  • Destroy 100 enemy ships in PvP battles. Requires a rank 9 ship and higher.

  • Win in 8 PvE missions. Requires a rank 7 ship and higher.

  • Destroy 80 enemy ships using Iridium slugs in PvP battles. Requires a rank 7 ship and higher.

  • Earn 10000 effectiveness in battle. Requires a rank 11 ship and higher.

  • Destroy 65 enemy ships using Supercooled charges in PvP battles. Requires a rank 7 ship and higher.

  • Destroy 60 enemy ships using Explosive shells in PvP battles. Require a rank 5 ship and higher.

  • Destroy 115 enemy ships in PvP battles using a Thar’Ga’tok launcher on a rank 9 ship and higher.

  • Destroy 70 enemy ships, using a thermal weapon in PvP battles. Requires a rank 7 ship and higher.

  • Deal 630000 damage to enemy ships in PvP battles. Requires a rank 9 ship and higher.

 

Weekly Ellydium contract:

Win 15 times in Defiler and Destroyer Special Operations.

Another suggestion is to make mission refresh every 12 hours and give 12/8 mono instead of every 6 hours and give 6/4 mono. I have to play at work and get less sleep just so I can finish the mission. Tax payer are not pleased.

Time consuming and not fun, needs a tweak a little bit if you ask me.

Many of us have a life outside of this game and to do all those tasks would require hours of intense grinding. And we all know that grind is not fun.

Even with all such grinding, it would take 5-6 months to level up Thar’Ga to maximum, to fully research all abilities, with a Premium license, of course. Without it… good luck!

 

Many people who despise it, won’t buy any items in the Store, but boycott such practices and just speak badly about this game in general.

They are called Xenocrystals. Monocrystals are no longer an issue now. They most likely won’t increase the rewards, but if such requirements stay, they definitely should!

 

Unchanged requirements:

4/6 should become 6/9

 

Lowered by 50% requirements:

Same as they are now: 4/6

 

I am serious, everyone whines over this, it’s not just me. The only players that don’t, are the ones that have trillions of GS. The rest is obvious from here on.

Well, i havent seen any of it because im stuck on a specific task i cant cancel, soo… that may be a valid reason xd

but but… there are 9 more alien ships yet to come…

The best part about these assignments is that if you get one that requires something you don’t have, your weekly xeno gain stops at 30 because of the weekly one. Apparently they do not refresh after 6 hours unless you actually complete them. I’ve had the “kill 150 enemies using Thar’Ga’Tok” mission for several days now.

its not about to get easy a full R15 thar’ga but may its all about how its fun or not to upgrade this ship .

for each blue print ( low ran ) we need to unlock bonus/slot and for those matters before crafting one blueprint we need above 100/200 xenocrystal and 200-300 alien plate

more we unlock slot/bonus , more we need xenocrystral and alien plate .

the requirements to reach R15 , its 3-4 times than a classi SP ships  but we get 3 less rewards .

atm i’ve more fun to unlock premium ships ( parts) , more diversity on the task and less boring ( bonus : more rewards on bundle )

 

 

 

The mission require too much time for way too little rewards. I play less now than I ever have. I see most the task as impossible for the time I have available. For the most part I dont even try any more.

After some long math I realized if I had the time to do every single task, I would spend about 5 months to max out one alien craft. I would have to play about 18 hours a day to achieve this goal. On the other hand to buy all the materials needed to max out an alien craft I would have to spend some between $200 to $600 a ship depending what other mats I already had. No less than $200 for sure.

That $40 I put down barely put a dent in my goal. I am at R6 with over 300 hours invested so far plus the $40. I realized this last week and gave up.

What is your “goal” ? 

Because you must be doing something seriously wrong here. 

 

You get enough materials in a week to get like 6 or 8 nodes in the early levels of Thar Ga. 

You need only 200 points to get to r6. The shield buffer give 100. 

The hull slot cost 60, and hull buffer 100.

The active cost 125 and motor 50

 

With this, which you can get in a single week, you’re already r7

I still try to grind monos, because the prices fro special module crafting require enormous amounts of Monocrystals, now.

Monocrystals are too short to come by, imho…

Exactly, one cannot cancel assignments, that is not optimal. Idea is to have a market for assignments and one chooses form the list of things one would be rewarded for, just like on a jobs market etc. It even would be so nice to have the Pirate station in middle of Galaxy Map: @Fort Muerto, there one would dock and get special pirate missions or expert assignments (more difficult) but not this auto-assignments as today.

Devs give us choice and a market for assignements players can choos by their onw, now!!

Swifter you speak of (green) points - he is supposedly speaking of requirements of Xenocrystals to get some decent modules and weaponry and such…

The requirement for xenos is insanely enormous … if it would be credits like with the old ship tree development, everyone would be more pleased I guess.

You can get 130 xeno in a week

You need 4 xeno to buy the first node and approximately 36 xeno for a node at r15

 

No need to be a genius to understand that the rewards are GOOD

Even a special module takes barely two weeks to complete…

Imho, I guess your math is not right, here. To research all nodes and sub-nodes at rank 5 for Targ’ga you need like 400-500 xenocrystalls. In specific the “Additional bonus (Defence)” node costs 100 Xenos at rank 5, the node “Engine boost” costs 70 Xenos.

Lets say 500 per ranks 5,7,9,11,13,15 that makes 3000 Xenos till rank15, maybe more. I do not know, because my Thar’ga is only rank 6 and the locked nodes to research are not telling (by hovering over them) how many Xenos they require.

Your (green) points come as a side-effect by spending Xenos and Credits on research… and are relevant only for down-/up-ranking the Tar’ga.

 

P.S.: I do get around 90 Xenos per week (that is : 7x6 xenos for dailies and 1x45 xenos per weekly assignments => 42+45=87 Xenocrystals per week.)

It’s like 500-600 xeno to get a full r15 build.

let’s see point by point

yep , there’s daily task 6 per hours but you think really do all task one day …all players have a life irl ![:)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001j.png “:)”) …so most players get above 50-100 per week

to craft a thar’ga , we need 100 xenos and 200 aliens plate and 10 parts gunhips

then on first rank , nodes can take  8 , 16 , 50 and more for xenos .

to unlok all nodes ( slot , blue print , bonus ) from R5 , we need above more 150 xenos and 100 alien plate .

at each rank , the requirement grow up …

i want to see how with only 500 xenos you can reach R15 and unlock some basic blue print …Oo

and i didn’t count ressources to unlock special module .

 

 

 

The point is : Don’t unlock everything. Unlock what you need. 

 

You won’t be able to use everything anyway. 

Buying more then needed is useless. 

And basic modes cost is not that much. 

 

Only motors, defensives/offensive passives, and special cost more. But still doable in 2 weeks.
