Optical Assualt - Creates a second ship that is an illusion to the target. The illusion affects the naked eye, radar/sensor, and HUD. It has a fake shield and hull bar.
The illusion acts indepently and fades away after 12 seconds and it will also dissappear if shot continously for 4 seconds. The illusion fires at the target but does no damage. The illusion activates modules the same time the user activates modules. The illusion changes vectors frequently but always moves towards the target. You can see if you are being affected by “Optical Assualt” at the buff/debuff bar.
That’s kinda the point. “Nothing to fear but fear itself.” If you are calm and collected you would notice that the health of the Illusion stays the same even when being shot at.

And then realize that you wasted a few charged positron shots at the illusion. Darn.
But really, I dunno if this would be a wise idea. ECM stuns already wreck the offensive abilities of a ship, I don’t think we need another one.
is this the brown trouser module? a team of 2 ECM’s is bad enough. Suddenly there’s four or more and you have no flippin clue what one is real and no time to find out, before you know it you’re stunned, shot and killed before they move onto the next target.
No. How about we just delete the ECM class. It shouldn’t be in the game. Let alone give it ANY more power than it already wields.
