does that matter? it can still save you to from being 1 shotted, it also can save you from cocoon snipers (those who last hit you when your F ends), eb is just awesome for most interceptors
EB is useful, yes. But I really really prefer more energy regen for ABing, since it allows me to have my afterburners on at all times. It’s my fastest ship.

I solve that problem with passive armor, its hull is useless any way, doesn’t matter if i have less resists.

Well I would say in squad the passive armor is like the regen hull. Why do you need it if you have a competent engi in the squad?

There are 2 more Interceptor classes that do not have energy absorber modules
CovOp has to use orion and plasma arc in the same time for a greater surprise burst befor enemy realised what is going on, and 2 of these modules require almost full capacitor and then you get a EM torp to the face and you have to activate 2 of yoru surv modules right away
Recons shield drain and invis consume a lot of energy per sec as well, but luckily for recons they aren’t Jericho and have enough Capacitor slots or native regen to be fine.
Dont forget for Regenerative coating to work you have to be at full capacitor, which means that you will not get healed during the fight and you have to be very passive while it takes forever to regenerate your hull.

Very true, for my case, its best to run away from the battle, heal, and come back.

Only ECM are non cap stable. Recon and covops are. At least all my builds are. Since they were talking about the Kris AE, I thought it was only ECM we were talking about.
I use regen coating on jerry ECM because their hull is so small you can regen it in 20 secs at full cap.

I am not sure what is your point here, it sure can AB forever without dropping under 50% but how is it related to an actual fight? You don’t use drones/Shield drain/Invis? single drone uses up to 40% of total volume, Shield Drain and Invis have very high energy consumption per second. Unless you are covered by friendly Energy Aura you will never have energy above 50% on any interceptor during an actual dogfight.

Mmm not really, it has its uses, I use it on Ricasso, because to heal the hull I drop crashing into asteroids, I also use it on the Kite when playing solo coz I trust no engineers.
both of them has -23.1% afterburner cost, so they are pretty energy stable
