Duo Modification

Name: Duo Modification

Type: Primary weapon for any ship

Ranks: 7-15

Tooltip: This weapon deals no damage until a target is locked. Upon use, the weapon uses a mixture of crystal and duplicator technology to instantly grow copies of the target’s primary weapons for use for 30 seconds. Can be used infinitely. Damage scales with number of turrets on ship.

that’d be interesting o.O

Yes, i want coil mortar in a cov ops. Or better i want blaster cannons in a cov ops. Or better i want plasma cannon in a cov ops…

It sounds nice, but when you mix weapons meant to different classes… I fear it will need some adjustments.

“Scales with number of turrets”

Also it would only function for a small amount of time before needing to be refreshed so for a ship to use it properly, they’d have to make their decisions much faster. I’ll tweak down the copy time.

And I wouldn’t worry about CovOps. I’d worry more about LRF’s or Destroyers.

Interceptor weapons are the strongest (for being only 2), the bigger the size, the less dmg they have. Just check the armory.

Then i want this to put a Plasma gun into a LRF. LOL those interceptors won’t have a chance  ![:shturm_light:](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/shturm_light.gif “:shturm_light:”)

Sounds very interesting. Can not say for sure about is it technicaly possible now, but I wish)

I can think of several ways of making this happen, but unfortunately, they all require new code, so that stinks.
