Do you think the current Credits income without license its ok or to less!

Your post is slightly misleading/uninformed as those ‘seperate grinds’ all happen simultaneously. It just happens to be the case that you gain more credits in PvE and more rep in PvP - you don’t exclusively get either in these game modes. It’s a perfectly acceptable system and enables players to ocassionally try another game mode if they’re close to achieving their credit or reputation goal. Or to stick with whatever game mode they prefer.

If you get ‘sick of playing’ - then I would suggest this isn’t the game for you. You are playing a game mode to get better at the same game mode - it’s progress you make over time. The point is to enjoy yourself, not to sit there feeling you are grinding to have fun later. It’s not like the game mode suddenly massively changes just because you achieved max synergy level or reputation.

It’s your turn to be misleading, now that I have two choices: PVP or PVE, with real mode mixed in, and unless you fork over the cash, you often are forced to grind Loyalty in PVP and Credits in PVE.  I am not against these xp style systems, however I am of the opinion that the current setup rewards me on a far to infrequent basis, and the gameplay alone isn’t that engaging when I cannot use multiple ships and missiles without risking losing money.

It is my opinion that games should not punish people for playing, and right now you are punished if you die too much, use too many missiles or die in too many ships.  The individual gameplay, as all the “frigball” threads attest, doesn’t have the opportunities for interesting gameplay that even WoT had.  On Guards, Engineers and Command, most of your abilities are continuous use and don’t require too much thought.  Interceptors and tacklers pop all their stuff all at once, and LRFs are only good in a very narrow situation.  That isn’t enough to carry me over 100 games to the next ship.  I’ve already dropped my playtime to only when my friends are on, so perhaps your right in that it isn’t the game for me, but given that T3 is getting deserted and T4 is a wasteland, I don’t think the game can sustain itself as it is for long.

Most of your problem seems to stem from dieing a lot - if you can resolve that aspect of your play, most of the other problems you are experiencing will quickly disappear.

For most experienced players it’s very rare to die 3 times, so it almost never happens that you have to repair all of them. Similarly, because you didn’t die you wont have swapped ships as much and you wont have used all your missiles, thus further reducing your costs.

Worst case if someone really has trouble staying alive and simply can’t progress money-wise, buying just one premium ship is fairly inexpensive and would eliminate those problems / allow you to acquire more credits to purchase further ships. This might be a free to play game, but if you’re going to play it for 100+ hours, it’s worth spending a few pounds/dollars/euros.

It’s not going to make you a better player or help you win more matches - but it will help get rid of repair costs and allow you to more easily acquire credits for other ships. If that isn’t an option - I would strongly suggest asking some more experienced players to help you with tips and advice on how to increase your survivability. Because you can make a healthy profit and progress speed without any form of premium ships/items/licenses. I did so in my first weeks of playing and thought if anything the progress was too easy/quick. I barely used one ship or I was able to acquire the next. And I don’t class myself as a fantastic pilot.

A premium ship can help a lot by just removing the repair costs.  Gaijin’s also seems to have changed the amount of credits received, and loyalty received.  Right now, without a license and without repair costs or reloading costs I think it would take over four hours in battle to get enough credits for a R9 ship, probably five hours.  I reached T3 battles in a couple weeks of playing, I’m still grinding away for new ships.  Paying credits for missiles isn’t too bad.  Is that 1000 credits for that “Finish Him!” medal worth it?  It is to me!

I spend about 35 million on ships for the tournament and haven’t dropped under 40 yet - every time I buy a ship an evening or two later the costs have been recovered.

I do fly premium and normal ships about 50:50, I have a few favourite ships which are not premiums  I’m reasonably consistent in putting down decent scores in said matches, which also helps a lot.

Genuinely believe that it would be worth hooking up with some experienced pilots, Ming. Your mileage will change dramatically.

If only I had that kind of credits…I have 90k right now >.>

It’s around 150k/match - with 5-6 matches per hour, so that’s 1,5 million every 2 hours of active flying.

Credits come quite fast that way.

Often it is far more due to the loot being worth a fair bit.

grinding credits would be a lot less worse if I hadn’t have to buy mk1 crap with my ships. A T4 cotss 7-10m, and half of that is basicly the modules…I really think they should fix that

True. Most of the modules are thrown straight into my ever-increasing warehouse stockpile and never look at again.

i only got exp. in my warehouse ;oi sell the rest

I have many things for you, speshal customer, speshal price - just for you.

Come buy, very cheap.

I have tons of junk, I never bother selling anything as it’s worth fairly little and those mouse clicks are too much effort. Just let me buy a bigger warehouse, darn it!

:taunt:

I’ll buy them all from you! 5 credits each! No need to get a bigger warehouse !

uhm, yeah…i went completly offtopic there…

anyway, fix t4 darn it…and a lot of other stuff as well i guess…so many problems, so few fixes(i know, I know, small team) >:(

There are LRF pilots in T2 who do nothing to achieve the game objectives, while the rest of the team dies repeatedly in an attempt to win the match. When we do win the match somehow, they earn more than us because they didn’t die at all.

I have about 4.4 million credits at the moment.  Often I’d save up for the one ship.  Just buy it, equip it right if I could afford, and then try it out a while.  My Kris and Kris AE’s are worthless to me.  I skipped Kris and started playing the AE.  The Spirit I bought a month ago is better in every regard.  More missiles, more speed, more hull, more shield.  That cost me 7m credits.  On the plus side, I took advantage of Steam’s summer sale, so I’m trying out a premium hanger!

The only Mk.III things I’ve bought were nukes, T3 power conduit unit, and T2 shield projection.  Mk.III is expensive.

You haven’t looked at T4 yet have you? T4 mk3 weapon is as expansive as a T2 R6 ship ;o

I don’t want this to sound wrong, but how many T4 players started before the credits and costs changed?  How many after?

after reading through this thread, the obvious conclusion is not that the income gain is too low, its that the dam ships cost far too much, this is inflation, we need to cut it off at the source, lower the price of the ships instead of increasing income. 3 mill for a t3 ship? it takes forrreveeerrrrrr without a liscence which most people who play dont have. if your going to sell a ship with preinstalled weapons and moudules then make them Mk2 or give us the choice to buy the ship with only a main weapon like it used to be. this game went from being productive when i played as T2 to being an absolute grind as T3, PvE shouldnt be the best way to get money either, its a pvp game, make that the important part for getting everything except for moduals, leave the looting system more lucrative in the PvE missions.

WTF happened to the income???

thats f****** rediculous…

i recently played a couple of rounds and had some very good stats…then i saw the income and got sick…58000 credits and 945 reputation for a win? i played t2…normally it was like double 945 and almost 100k…

okay okay, lets try another one, maybe it was a bug or whatever…

next game, next win, same amount of reward…REALLY?

why did u do that?

the grind was HUGE before but now…

what is your point about that? do u think thats the way to do it? i mean  A LOT of players left the game since the last patches…

the only thing what can be good about it u force people to stay longer in t1,t2,t3 so the potential of mixed tears is not by a 100% ;)wt

but players are leaving so it can not be the best way i guess…

We did not touch the reward in the last patches. Reputation is depending on your faction rank and the ship rank you are flying.

->Fly the highest ship available for max reputation.

i fly t2/ t3 and have the last ships ( rank 6/80% or 9/125%)

t2 gave me 945 per win with a max rank ship for that tear…thats the reward u got for a t2 pve win some time ago…a loss was 945 in pvp t2…

now i got this reward about 6 times in a row BUT i was winning…???

i made double the income without a license a couple of weeks ago…

BUT i will test it again, although i am sure about my statement…

Try flying a R9 ship to level your reputation higher than 9

Reputation is mostly fine as I can see right now.

It levels quickly enough if you use the right rank’ ships.

Loyalty and credits however…I’ve done it too often… I won’t even bother anymore, devs won’t touch it anyway.
