I am a Mark 5 Lover.

Will I get all orange colors on my slots anytime soon?  ![:yes_yes_yes:](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/yes_yes_yes.gif “:yes_yes_yes:”)

Does mk5 realy worth it? I mean they are expensive and add almost nothing

Well, that’s true. But if you plan to upgrade only 1 ship that you use the most, every benefit counts.

Of course, you need to prioritize here. Even I will.

That i only upgrade few guns to 5 :), i’ll keep that in mind

There is no point better save it or get craft ships

Mark V upgrades will be in the workshop as they were. It the special one, and not all the modules have Mark V yet.

Actually the question we were referring to was about what happens to the upgrade kits (the things you can get as loot that let’s you go from Mark I to Mark II, or Mark III, to Mark IV for free), not Mark V. Still good to get what’s happening to Mark V answered at least.

Ahhaaa! So you guys are going to throw a party, ey?! Meeting in a pub?! Now I get it… Broker mission is suspended. Big patch is still not here.  Uhuum. I see.  ![](< base_url >/uploads/emoticons/wink.gif “”)

Upgrade kits can be sold or salvaged from the workshop. There’ll be no more green in the game loot. Purple can be found and later salvaged to iridium, for example. That’s the plan for now, but it may change a bit. You’ll find the answers in the patchnote ![;)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/002.png “;)”)

Interesting. The more I read, the more this comming update suck.

There goes the mass mk2 salvaging for materials. I hope mk1 will replace mk2 in salvaging then. It was so convenient and mostly replaced the boring OS farming for materials like computing chip or graphite.

I would not say this system will suck. In fact, this will bring along a lot of free storage space. We were asking for it and here it is. Maybe there were technical limitations and that is why they had to reduce upgrade levels instead. Also, if there will really be a whole new faction later on, then we will need all our free storage to equip them for sure.

Losing the voucher accumulation option would have sucked but they will keep it… yaay. Just don’t forget to remember to this when someone starts saying that devs never listen. ![:excl:](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/excl.png “:excl:”)

It suck.
Mk2 kits can be instantly salvaged after receiving them. THEY are not the problem of my storage problems.
But then Mk2 level will require voucher instead of being able to use kits. → Voucher are already a big bottleneck.
There are easy solutions to the voucher system:

  1. Unifying of all the vouchers into one.
  2. Reducing the amount needed for the upgrade
  3. Making it criss-cross available: Mean you need x from the base voucher or y = zx from another one.
    Easy done.
You don’t need to revamp an entire system to bring in some bling bling eyecandy cancer xxxx to impress anyone.
So how will this system be impressive, if such easy suggestion(s) are already a(n) big improvement?
    Not satisfied yet.

I don’t know why but I had the impression that current mk2 will be gone entirely. So, there will be only mk1 for credit, mk2 for voucher (mk2 and 3 merged), mk3 for iridium/purple kit, and mk4 for manufactured orange modules.

I already don’t like the new system and it isn’t even here yet. How is this making anything better??? Vouchers were already a terrible idea and now we need them for every level?? XD

What if we’ll get more credits from battles and ore items will drop so it’ll save the time of salvaging? In the end if our progress isn’t nerved - why not?

Or maybe a materials shop for credits - why not?

After seeing  how expensive the bundle credits is I don’t think that a good idea^^ (still that would be pretty cool)

We could call it “black market” ![:)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001j.png “:)”)

How do you will know that you don’t get credits trash instead of resources?

And alone from the quantity, a kit is far superior to a resource.

1 kit >= 1 resource. Especially the higher the kit is.

So our progress WILL be nerfed.

Ok, so we can’t actually use upgrade kits after the update to upgrade our stuff? That kinda sucks, guess I’ll try to use as many of them as I can up before that update hits. This is why I ask stuff like that.

This also brings about another big question I don’t think has been asked yet, when will this update hit? Fall/autumn I think starts next week, and lasts till around late December, so labeling this as an autumn update leaves a lot of room for it to be released. I don’t expect an exact date, but could you at least tell us the month it’s being targeted to?

The eagerly anticipated new destroyers will finally take their rightful place in the ship tree in the next update.Engineers are ready to demonstrate maximum power of their shipyards and present 3 amazing combat vessels. Each of them will be released in its own update.

So just to clarify, the actual next update deployed with the new research project right? So will the new destroyers start to be deployed with the update to come within a week or are you just saying within a next set of updates…because i had assumed alien crystals are the new material for building the destroyers. Hopefully you are able to clarify.

Depends on the player. A starting player will lack a lot of credits, so using kits will save a lot of creds. Now, for other players that have been playing for a long time: meaning they have a lot of credits and no mk1 module, the kit renders useless in terms of credits/upgrade, so offering the salvage option is an incredible resource income, specially since crafting SP ships/destroyers, ammo and other stuff requires those materials. And a R15 kit can offer more than 1 resource in multiple amounts: like the ones that give 5 computing chips and 5 metal blank.

NVM i missunderstood you. You were talking about trophy search.
