Your current voucher won’t disappear) We will deliver you a nice way to spend it

Cinnamon Bun you are a saint. This is why I chose you.

I’m a bit worried too, about the pace we’ll be able to upgrade our stuff and i will miss the opportunity to keep the vouchers until you’re sure of what you want to do with them. But other than that, i’m pretty excited.

And :  A new major addition to Star Conflict will forever change the univers. Not a sanddbox universe ?!?! That mention is making me dream. But i wont put too much hope on it and be dissapointed. But whatever it is, it can only be good.

Third edit…More premium ships we can get for free ![:)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001j.png “:)”). If my memory serves me right. It’s the first mmo i see giving the opportunity to get unique, RL cash items for free without a market system/auction house. It please people like me to see that. Since i’m big spender by nature( first step to remission is admmiting you have a problem?!) and dont put alot of cash in games or i would spend way too much and put me in trouble but, i have the time. So on behalf of all the free users i thank you guys.

League of legend do. You can get skins for free by playing (one per month).

Dofus does too. You can buy the license in game.

And I’m sure many games do this too. (especially since lol skin crafting is inspired from another game).

RIP t5

Looking forward to new pvp gamemode and sec con revamp though.

No mention of the social rework talked about before? Like seeing which size squads are in queue and what rank?

Dofus give licenses for in-game currency? And skins doesnt give any advantage right? Anyhow, it’s rare and apreciated ;p

The new patch sounds interesting, and the new voucher system doesn’t appear to be terrible once Cinnamon explained it; BUT how about the vouchers that we used to find in open space (mysterious/pirate/shielded/alien containers and alien drones)? Are we still going to get them and gain progress, OR we’ll get monocrystals instead?  ![:D](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/006j.png “:D”)

Alien drone= instant level

This whole loyalty system change worries me as well, even more so if they change more things to such a system. I like being able to stockpile loyalty vouchers, and so forth, then max something out once the need for a new something arrives. Get a new weapon/module/etc, mess around with it at Mark I, if I like it, max it from my stores. Comes off as a nice perk for having been playing for years.

Aside from the OS loyalty vouchers, what about the daily random one for sending out a set of ships, and the other ways we get rewarded with loyalty now like from rank ups within a faction, or various daily/one time missions? With those nice big random loyalty rewards, I found the whole system to be working quite nicely, and loyalty wasn’t some painful grind like it used to be. Yet now that it’s all working quite nicely, you’re “fixing” it, haven’t you guys heard of if ain’t broke, don’t fix it? Without knowing what these “nice ways to spend it” will be for having stockpiled loyalty, I think it’d be best to just spend most of what I have now.

Yeah, there’s various games that have put in an official currency exchange system to help deal with “gold” sellers, like different ones published by NCSoft. EVE Online lets you buy subscriptions with their in-game currency too.

Yeah, the biggest problem with the fact that you can’t stack voucher anymore is that you can’t stack voucher anymore (I know, I said it twice).

Because when you don’t know what to get, or don’t need something for the moment ; later when you’ll need them you well have to start from 0.

Exactly the problem.

I tend to stockpile things until I need them. This eliminates that possibility.

Even worse, it’s that now you won’t be able to instantly upgrade to mk4 items  ![:005:](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/005.png “:005:”)

Which like I said, being able to max a new thing you got right away from your stores was a nice perk for having been playing for years. Like a while back the faction based rank up rewards for new players were just a tad excessive, so people complained that it was too much of a benefit for new players, and wanted the same bonuses rewarded retroactively (which we didn’t get, but they did reduce the rewards quite a bit). Now with this change, it again feels like a kick in the nuts to long time players, for the sake of helping new players. I know an online game, especially an aging one, needs to do things to help the new players catch up, but it shouldn’t be at the cost of your long time players that kept the game alive to now.

And here we get to the point why all this is “necessary”. With the current system anyone could plan ahead, save voucher for modules, and when one decides to move to the next ranks there is enough for upgrading them to mk3 and mk4 and that way have more chance against higher rank and better equipped players. With the new system I see three options: We can buy higher rank modules and within a certain rank range we can upgrade them on lower rank ships. Or, we grind vouchers on higher rank ships, on those that the module is bought for, and face whoever MM gives us. And the third option, after the patch the only one for faster progress, is to skip mk 3 with GS. And as I see, that is the goal here… partly. Or at least it may, very conveniently, drive players to buy more module upgrades with GS.

It’s all a ploy to squeeze more money from us!!! XD

They could have just fused the 6 currencies into one, and make all contracts available from everywhere, and voila. Works the same way, but you can still stack them for later.

Where’s that image of person pointing angrily at post above?

It like some others has an official currency exchange (Kama Exchange), usually as a way to deal with “gold” sellers.

I am not saying it is a bad thing though. As long as the progress speed remains more or less the same, its fine with me. However, I hope devs did not forget about one thing: many of us plays in several ranks and levels. In fact, they are “forcing” to do so. So, if we will have one module choice daily to get voucher for that would pretty much kill progress. E.g. if the player reached r13 and want to play defiler spec ops, tournament and t5 dreads, tell me, for which ship should this player choose voucher upgrade?

I am skeptical about this new or reworked loyalty system.

I would keep the current system, but I would simplify it to only 3 different currencies instead 6 - Empire, Federation and Jericho loyalty vouchers.

Here you go!

You’re implementing probably something, that it’s more conditional and difficult to complete.

You should present it how it works in your blog to the public, before releasing such system! GS prices for upgrades might get worse or higher.

Imagine this:

You want to upgrade Rank 15 Combat Reboot to Mark 3 and then you got like 10 objectives to complete and you need to do them in a sequence.

One of the objectives might be a Combat Recon assignment.

You might have an objective to be the Captain and win, or that you need to ensure that your Captain survives and wins, etc.

This is just one example! I do not like it, because I can already smell it and the stench is horrible!

Mark 2 and Mark 4 Kits. How will this affect them? Will you still be able to upgrade regular Mark 2 items with credits? How will this affect salvaging in general?

No exp bar. Just 3 currencies and if your vouchers go under the cap of 1 million, you get them via coupons for later in your Armory.

There is another thing:

Free synergy - can you use it to fill experience bar for Mark 3 upgrade or later, or is this not connected at all?

Please, also, tell me, what will we get for using the current loyalty vouchers? I deserve to know, as everyone else.
