Yes, my cpu cooling is broken and my game crashing because GPU is overheating (100C).

Haha right! Would be cool to have a SC in which form/design would be abstracted from function/role. Imagine to have the nightingale raw ship equipped like a Taikin or  a Cyning ship equipped like a Karud – and imagine being a corsair and tinkering your own ship like an all-crossout ![:007_2:](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/007_2.png “:007_2:”)

Hmmm, not very good idea. Currently ship building is ok.

This sounds dangerously close to ‘level flattening’ which will decrease the bare amount of balance this game has currently.

WHere did you hear these? I have not heard them in Open Space. The audio there us super-boring. Oh, wait, I heard number 2.

How do you guys keep thinking that these are in game? What am I missing? From what I read, these people are wanting more voice overs for the npc but its all just talk atm.

I like more new things in the game, and when the pirates say the same thing again and again - it gets boring. After all, we are playing NOT on an old video game device and I personally expect more variety from playing on a big master race PC. Also, why not give the bots some AI to understand when to attack me and when/what to shout at me? Some rank 4 weak pirates shout at me like I am flying on a rank 1 ship (while I am on rank 15). They have to understand that I need a different approach, that I can one-shot kill them. But they behave like they are from a 2001 old video game. Their behaviour needs upgrades.

Agreed but the OS rework is supposedly expected around New Year and maybe this is a thing. Also, there are more important things to do than voice overs but should/could still be put on the list of things to do.

it is not only voice-overs. The whole Open Space needs updates. New zones, new sounds, new voice-lines, new races, new ships, new AI, more brains, new tasks. Many people spend hours farming for a new ship in OS. Of course a developer/donater does not care because they have a Premium account with super resources.
And I don’t understand ONE THING! Why wait until NEw Year?  What is so difficult in adding all of them every week or month? Why do they always wait forever and give all those things in one update which the players wait for 6 months? They can make smaller updates! And more frequent.

i just want to be able to do more stuff in os, mission, stations, dealers, hostiles, events, invasion, big damn space battle… there is no many option and thing that can be added!

Looks like promessing but i prefer Ellydium ships.

Yes, so many possibilities for Open Space, and many people spend a lot of time there. I used to spend hours each day in OS, but now I just do daily tasks and finish. Open Space is boring without updates and new ideas, but I know that it can be interesting. For example, I remember those Ellydium Theta missions with ultra-high damage. They were intresting. Can anybody remember other interesting things in Open Space? Any ideas/propositions?

Pirate cruisers in OS.

 

Alien invasions on stations.

 

Uhh

 

Ideas…

Alien destroyer raids that many players can join in to whenever.

Pirate station events where the “black market” temporarily opens and sells cool stuff for credits.

Docking at Fort Muerto for said events.

Mini-stations scattered through sectors.

The ability to build a base.

Better mining than searching for floating rocks would be nice.

 

Being able to salvage wrecks in space for parts or lots of money.

Quick-travel that players can pay to use to jump to a sector instantly without fuel usage. Max 80k creds tho because that’s the station hopping fee.

I would say jumping to any zone should cost more than jumping to a key station. Simply because the service includes more than jumping to the core station, and could save a lot of time. However, I would like this to be very expensive, because the main value of flying in Open Spce is in how careful you become if you don’t want to die and fly through 5 sectors again. I would suggest 500.000 for each sector to keep Open Space romantic/ I mean, if you have something very fast, it loses its attraction.
