Had high hopes for this, but unfortunately it doesn’t work for me at all. Feels just like SecCon transferred to T3 -> Elite Squads farming Randoms.
You can argue as much as you want about how this is supposedly “fair” and a “Tournament”. If I see the lineup and the outcome is already clear why even bother with this?
Wasting precious lifetime for a reward worth maybe 50 cent (which the randoms won’t have any chance at getting anyway)? Don’t think so. If there were a chance to get anything worthwhile for the Corp that you couldn’t get for GS (Iridium?), then maybe. But GS? Come one guys, I have a real job.
It is also a great way to fly with a big squad of friends. Winning GS is just the icing in the cake.
You have to understand that with the current squad meta, most people don’t want to squad because of the waiting times. Tournaments are great for that.

Just make sure you got things finished and get ready for the tournament. You always got a place in my wing.
LOOk developers there is no parady in these matches unlike EVE you have no broad base of contestants. Id suggest that you invite the corps first asto 8 man teams and have a separate individual play that from there teams are formed to compete with thecorporation teams.
We have what istermed freindships these can turn into memebrs of corps that specifically want to have 8 man squads thenone time in a year they can havea tournement for bragging rights also 4 man battles of the same sort
Now im not into slaying oponents who lack experience ionly see it turns ugly in the end.
I would suggest a Bio morph contest that can net gold and i wont feel so exposed for my killing of 6300 + morphs To me there is the challange.

It is meant for corps to compete, but then again, so is Sector Conquest, which it seems you have not reached yet. As for it being “gold-farming”, that may be so, but you have to fight VERY hard to get the gold! Last weekend, my corp only won 2/3 because we got absolutely stomped by another corp, mentioning no names but they have something to do with bears, and not the cute furry type…

Intentional or not, putting several top-tier corporations into the same wing gives them some very biased matchups.
Overall it’s a great system, but there are only so many skilled competitive players.

Not true, i have witnessed multiple tournaments in a row where ESB wing would be put against ESB wing as game 1
I can confirm this. Wings of the same corporation are also matched against each other. If it has not happened for you yet, it is merely coincidence.
This is not 250GS for half an hour. It’s 250GS for 7 days and even then, the 250 isn’t guaranteed. Have tournaments going all the time and this is true. Otherwise, you are lying to you
I cannot even imagine what kind of Magik Math you used to come up with that… 1 Tournament at 3 different tiimes over less than a 24 hr period. 8 min a round 3 rounds a tournament. 8x3=24 so 24 min. If you play all three times (which I dont know if you can but lets say you did) 24x3= 72 so 72 min total. Win it all @250ea win 750 GS. Now reverse it nullify it or try whatever you like. I do not see how 1 Tournament could possibly =(60x24)x7 ** That would be one week in min** which is the only way your statement proves =True ← If ()=False: Ignore; att :Null !-> <p> “WTH were you thinking” </P>
