Am I the only one who welcomes all the changes in this patch?
Loyalty currency means I don’t have to constantly change between factions to get a full MK3 gunship because each one of the weapons belongs to a different faction.
4 squad players means I can play full squad PvE (yes, I like carebearing)
Improved HUD means I won’t lose my sight (or at least not that much :Dwop )
I understand that old players or the ones who paid for something before can be a bit annoyed for the changes. But as a recent player that I am, I’m loving the changes.
I’m looking forward to get the new patch :yes_yes:

I love these changes. But, as I said, it’s a drop of water in the ocean. Most severe issues stand unresolved.
Eviscerador I am an “old” player(Not that old, but sort of, I got a lot of forum posts & all loyalties above lvl 12) and welcome most changes, but am worried about the actual implementation.
4 player PVE has always been possible, you would just have to go through custom battle instead of the PVE screen. And 4 player squad will not be possible after the patch either.

Wait, are you saying that I can create a custom PvE game with the same rewards and settings than a random one in the custom made screen? And then invite my friends to play? I mean, do you still receive the same loot, contract filling, purple dots and such?
I must sound funny now, but we were making two two man squads and sync the timing so the MM get all of us in the same PvE match…
On the other way, we can now play as a full 4 points squad, (2 leads, 2 points one with fighters or frigates, the other two with ceptors) in PvP also. Good.

Dont be so sure about it… the answer was rather cryptic…

Yes, as long as you don’t change the settings it will be completely the same.

Yes, PvE games that have not had their rules altered will give you full reward

And where do you think you’ll get your loyalty currency from? Oh right, by changing between the factions, because each faction will have their own loyalty currency. Same thing as before.
Only difference is that now if you fly only a handful of ships you’ll have less of a grind for loyalty whereas if you outfit a lot of different ships you’ll likely have to grind loads more to pay for upgrading all the mods.

If I’m not mistaken, the loyalty currency will work for any mark 3 item, not just the faction marked ones. So you can actually grind legion loyalty and buy mark 3 assault railguns.

no no all mk3 weapons will have to have currency from there respective faction, will pretty much be like now but need currency instead of loyalty is how i am reading it. (antibus said something along thease lines a few pages ago.)
