So I heard as well everrdylost…but if you never open your mails with artifacts after you have gotten 100 of them, you can get an unlimited number of them if mails don’t got a maximum count…
If I’m not mistaken, the loyalty currency will work for any mark 3 item, not just the faction marked ones. So you can actually grind legion loyalty and buy mark 3 assault railguns.
You are mistaken. Basically everything stays the same (pretty sure reputation actually means rank as we currently have it):
Contract will stay almost the same way they were.
There will still be fractions, they will have different currencies.
They will become availible in accordance with your racial standing (reputation).
Pfft…I have 3 right now. Before this big announcement I gave all of mine to my Corp. We are small enough right now I don’t foresee us getting the Dreadnought, etc… so I wish there was a way to give back all of the artifacts the members have donated to the Corp. I’d rather them use them to upgrade their stuff now rather than donating them. They use to be pretty much worthless to an individual, and now all of a sudden they are like Gold.

Awww…
Well, at least this means I don’t have to reach rank “x” to get just one module… so as you have said before, this means that people focusing in a single branch will have advantage, but if you spread between different roles and ships, you will have to grind more.
I get the idea that I’ll be using up sub faction currency instead of getting to keep permanent sub faction levels. I brought up all sub factions to level 9. Patch 0.9.7: I can currently buy all T3 Mk III items, and it costs only credits to buy those. Patch 0.9.8: This new way looks like everything gained by having sub faction level 9 six times becomes depleted while obtaining Mk III items. If I’m correct about how sub faction currency will work, that’s the one big downside that will take some accepting and getting used to.
You get Faction Currency = Faction Loyalty. So first of all you get to keep any Mk.III items you already have AND upgrade them to Mk.IV which is what Experimental is right now. Secondly you will have enough Faction Currency for each one that you can upgrade any item later.
So basically buy all of the Mk.III you can now, and then you will only need to upgrade them 1 times to make them Mk.IV.

Yes, this is correct. Don’t forget about premium modules, that will boost your synergy gain even when you modify them into Mk.4. :00222:
It is good for older players that have massed so many mk3 items until now, but I think from now on it will be easier and less costly even for newer players that don’t have blues yet. Now you can get what you want, overall this is a really great improvement on the loyalty system.
