detect enemy modules

With a growing amount of modules with complicated functions added to the game,

It would add some order to chaos if we had an ability to scan an enemy ship to see which modules they are using.

 

I think that ship information in general could be hidden from the other team until scanned somehow.

 

This could be in the form of a recon module or a general module.

 

Also naturally the targeted enemys modules would be shown on the HUD when “detected”

 

 

That’s the idea so far…

Funny you would come up with this as just yesterday I was wondering why there was no way to see the range one someones ship.

in that case the extra sensor range should be an active(toggle on/off) or else having super sensor range at all times would be иoob when it gives you away

This would open up way too many loopholes for the already abuse-happy sc playerbase. Otherwise its a nice idea that has no chance of ever being implemented due to a nice history of unfinished green work.
