destructor is OP

when you’ve fought a big beacon hunt with 1 or more destructor guards in enemy team shooting beacons from their spawn point… Any argument defending that weapon makes you angry

Before anyone suggests “killing them”, keep in mind they’re guards and they’re at their spawn… Killing them is easier said than done. And while you’re busy killing them, their team will just get the beacon… but hey you can get the next beacon now right? no. they will respawn right back

And those who suggest ‘parking at edge’… Do you not expect people to blow up a sitting duck?

Technicaly, destructors effect is “aura”

In my opinion it should best be countered by a CovOps. with one u can reach the guard very fast, take its shield and be back to the beacon. The rest of the team should have no pron finnishing it off. Preverably, a adaptive shield strafe CovOps which might even be anble to circle the guard and kill it alone. U should be able to take quite abit of shield until the enemy realizes ur attack if u come cloaked.

Yes, let’s take three covert ops and use teamspeak to time our attacks so that all the guards die at once, meaning we get thirty whole seconds to cap the beacon! And then we lose it because they respawn. But hey, thirty seconds for so little effort that it only takes three highly coordinated covert ops and the assumption that all the guards don’t pay attention to the number in the bottom right of their pulsar!
