Destroyers are OPeh.

so I have no idea what I am talking about? LOL I’ll just laugh.

So that explains, they don’t know what is interceptor and what’s their purpose. You are pointless, just go play your op interceptor ^^ newb.

you want to tell me T5 ECM’s survivability rate isn’t OP? with all those rotations, adaptives, 1sec(or was it 2) invincibility after bubble?

Those little b@astard can literally fly into enemy 8man team kill someone(or almost kill so some long range weapon teammate can finish da target) and gtfo w/o problem

Is that the famous 8 pro players that only play in Ru/Eu times everywhere, that i never get to meet in NA times?

Ceptors are broken compared to fighter/frigate, period.

no

Yes of course!

Pros:

Highest maneuverability

Smallest hitbox

Adaptives make them almost immortal

High damage

Sneaky and fast

33% less damage from explosves (half of the weapons in the game)

Can crush everything in hand of a good player.

Cons:

Low survability? Screw numbers that’s being nullified by it’s pros.

The only other ship aside from destroyers with similar capacities in OPness is LRF in good hands.

still: no.

still: no.

Without any argument, your statement is invalid.

Nice try, again: no.

Apart jokes, ultramobile/survival ceptors and uber fighters are the only things that prevent the return of the frigballs.

Fighters atm are way better than ceptors. And it’s fine (almost) the way it is. No one want those damn sittin/cover/hide and shoot from distance matches where nothing else happens.

There is more than pure “theory” to take in account when is matter of making a game fun.

Those above will be my only explanations. Apart those, you will deal with my usual standard answer, which is kinda trolly. But as you know: I’m not the only one using it.

So:

NO!

Funny. Even Sponge agree with Omega about OP ceptors. So we need to have a class, that counter 2 other classes very well with having maybe only 1 counter?

Imo the only thing that’s OP about inties is the turnkey gimmick. Take that away and they’re perfectly balanced.

Well, except ECM’s recent invulnerability buff after bubble. That was a dumb change.

This is something I’ve had in mind for long.

I would nerf interceptors a little bit more though… Something like hard cap of 180 for turn rate, and making their explosive damage modifier slightly bigger.

Does anyone have any idea why this was implemented? It seriously needs to be revoked. ECMs were ridiculously hard targets already. (That’s why I fly one often. :p)

Because standing between 5+ enemies was a fast dead. In OS I encountered a few enemies that seem to be ECMs. Killed them within 2s after stun. But now…

After playing in PvP with such changes it’s becoming ridiculous. 1-2 ECM just fly within the enemy group, pop the bubble and stun the team. Then they either run away or kill a damaged target. With next to no counter to this. Because if a second do this only 2s after the first, you have next to 4s total stun time, because you can’t react instant after the stun is over and all modules are cancelled. Hell even the SHIELDS from destroyer are so cancelled. Why? WHY?

I could not agree more. This makes them extremely difficult to hit, if not impossible. And while we’re at it Cov Ops should not be able to cap with it’s cloak active.

AFAIK some people on the Russian forum said that ECM is underpwoerd and to vulnerable bafter bubbleing. (I’m not sure if I remember it correctly)
