Well, let me repeat myself…

-Reduce close range damage modifier to 1.5.

-Reduce hull durability by 40%.

-Reduce hull resistances by 20.

-Reduce shield durability by 20%.

-Reduce Static Barrier durability by 50% and make destroyers unable to shoot through them.

-Reduce damage taken from module destruction.

-Make modules inherit bonuses of all passive hull modifiers related to resistances and durability.

-Remove disabling effect duration multiplier.

-Change warp speed to the standard of 2000 m/s.

-Change respawn time to standard.

-Reduce target locking time.

-Increase main gun projectile speeds.

-Increase main gun ranges slightly.

-Add a minimum effective range to main guns. Damage should be reduced by atleast 25% at a point blank range.

There’s tons of ideas out there already. That’s another one that also sound fine, devs can make their decisions and pick whatever suit them best. With time, personally, i got used to what they now, are.

But something i still wish for is  REDUCED RESPAWN TIME,  It was increased because they we’re Op and dominating the battlefield, which they are not anymore.

Op, your proposed changes just ‘buff’ empire(as they already double hp-wise) and at the same time make them more strict flying bricks. 80s radar error? Sorry, that’s pure cancer! Except vigi, you don’t have ANY weapon hitting in such a state to call it weapon. Any enemy can avoid your hits while your in this state.

The shields stopping your fire? Sure… that would create more imbalance! 1) Stopping ANY enemy suppression as you can’t fight them. 2) Explosive still do damage to you.

I would literally change it to 50% damage pass through shield. Explosive AND non-explosives.

The idea of this whole thread is silly.

Destroyers actually need buffing again. Enough stated.

Yup. Definitely. Indeed. Correct. I concur.

Especially in PvP. They are supposed to be mobile heavy-weapon platforms, not expensive frigates.

After the nerf it doesn’t feel good or right to fly them … they do not feel like destroyers …

I feel like a paper maché bag of nitroglycerine that is powered by a AAA battery and is pushed around by a small tin-foil fan.

So much exaggeration here. Beside OP thar ga, and one shot Plasma arc, destroyers are fine.

 

In fact the combination of a 50% range guard + Vigilant with mini wormhole is the most broken thing in game. Nothing can break it. Not even a thar ga.

Reducing overall survability by a decent amount without the tremendous close range debuff wouldve been just perfect.

I think the op-ness of r14 dessies ruined the detroyer line of ships…

the close range 750m extra damage multiplier is so destroying immersion in dessy play … other things like DPS cut or a special destroyer hunter model would have sufficed.
