In any game mode, it would be awesome if any kills had a very rare chance to be lootable for a large reward of some sort. Like if you killed someone with an unbeatable shot and got 857383 medals for it, you could fly to their wreckage and loot a cool reward like some GS or good modules or weapons or ammo. It just seems like it would be an interesting addition. And going to retrieve the loot would require stealth and skill if it was behind enemy lines too, so even if you did get a lootable kill, you may not be able to get it before it despawns.
The lootable object would be only seen by you, and only picked up by you. In a non-invasion mode it is sent directly to your warehouse. In invasion it is sent to your cargo hold.
The item that is dropped would be called “Ship Debris” and would act like a cargo container. Picked up, then the item inside would show.
Rarity examples:
PvP: +1% chance per medal you get for that particular person’s kill. Max of 10%.
PvE: +0.1% chance per kill. Max of 5% until next lootable is gotten.
Invasion: Same as PvE, but all non-AI kills have a default 2% chance.
Lootable items: GS, Ship Part, Mk3 Main Weapon, Mk3 Module, Rare ammo, rare secondary weapon, etc.
Items dropped would scale their value with the tier being played. In invasion, the loot would scale with the ship destroyed’s tier.
BETTER IDEA:
Then just suggest them to improve the loot search after battle (add opportunity to loot Mk3 Weapons, Blueprints, and other exciting stuff but with fair chances)

11% - Mk4 Upgrade Kit
11% - Pure Iridium (Depending on Tier, up to 60)
2,5% - Higher Iridium reward (Depending on Tier, up to 120)
5% - Loyality vouchers (fair amounts, Between 5 and 15k, depending on Tech level of course)
2,5% - Higher Credit reward (Depending on Tier, up to 250k)
10% - Medium Credit Reward (Depending on Tier, up to 50k)
5% - (Once a day) Reward Booster - If looted, all rewards through the battle are increased by 100%)
- (If reward booster has been looted already) - Free Synergy (Depending on tier, up to 50k)
10% - Bonus Ship Synergy - (Depending on Tier, up to 75k) - If all ships you have flown are maxed, 25% of the reward as free synergy)
5% - Galactic Standards - Small amounts, like 3 - 25)
2,5% - 50% increased battle reward
0,5% - Ship parts, T5 only
- if you do not fly T5, Resources, fair amounts.
0,5% - Premium Licence: 1 day (lootable once a week)
- If you got it already, 75% increased battle reward
0,25% - Insane Credit Amount (Depending on Tier, up to 2,5 million)
0,25% - Insane Iridium Amount (Depending on Tier, up to 500)
0,25% - Insane Voucher amount (Depending on Tier, up to 150k (one subfaction)
0,05% - Insane GS amount (Depending on Tier, up to 1000)
0,075% - Mk5 Blueprint, depending on the Tier you fly. (Tier 1 & 2 would give many resources instead)
0,02% - Alien Monocrystals, big amounts, depending on Tier up to 40.
These are just idea rewards, but something like that would make looting way more exciting and makes you hoping to get something interesting.
