As Papitas points out, you need to think about what behaviour your ideas are incentivising.
The login bonus is a good one because it gives reward for virtually no effort - just login and you’re done! And he rightly points out the “well, while I’m here…” effect as well.
To contrast, the current system for earning Special Module tokens is actually disincentivising me to play the game. I need to win a Combat Recon. Assuming that all modes have equal chance of being picked, that means any given game only has a 20% chance of being the game I want, and then I actually have to WIN the match (which isn’t easy - the last few Combat Recons were lost due to idiot captains), and so the result is that most games feel like a total waste of time. Since I’m probably not going to get what I want, I may as well not bother and so I go and find something else to play.
This is a big problem with incentive systems; they often don’t produce the behaviour you think they will.
