Credits And Your Bankroll, How to Save A Bundle.

Do you use auto repair? If so… turn it off.

That is the biggest thief in the game. DO NOT USE AUTO REPAIR. It drains your bankroll.

Just wait til ships are utterly broken and fix them only when forced to.

Granted, you will want to make sure you never go below 150k on your bankroll, but I have saved… roughly 10 million credits from not using auto repair.

Example 1:

Ship = 100%

You die 10 times in a match with said ship, the lowest the durability will go is 3 or 4… which is 46k repair for a rank 9 ship. Don’t repair it.

Ship = 3-4%

You die 10 times in a match with said ship, durability at end is 0%, your forced to repair. 48k for full repair.

Total cost for repairs after 2 matches… 48k

Example 2:

Ship = 100%

You die 10 times in a match with said ship, the lowest the durability will go is 3 or 4… which is 46k repair for a rank 9 ship.

Ship = 100%

You die 10 times in a match with said ship, the lowest the durability will go is 3 or 4… which is 46k repair for a rank 9 ship.

Total cost for repairs after 2 matches… 92k.

Example one saves you 44,000 credits.

I cannot stress enough though… make sure you don’t have completely broken ships before spending all of your credits though since they removed the insurance repairs.

Next ------>

mk1, mk2, military, mk3, experimental.

Since your forced into mk1 stuff now, this is the rules I go by for that.

Deal with the mk1 stuff until you can get mk3 or loot military or experimental. mk2 is twice as much, why spend it when you will get mk3 eventually anyhow, its just money you are throwing away.

When they remove the forced mk1, then just outfit everything with mk3 at the start if you can, otherwise the extra cash for mk2 isnt quite as bad since your not having to pay for the mk1 stuff.

Censored has good money saving tips. Alas, I can be quite forgetful when it comes to checking durability.

I use auto-repair because I’m lazy and some days my squad will not relent in the pursuit of complete sector dominance (i.e. I don’t have the chance to manually repair ships before I’m thrust back into battle). But to this, I accept all repair costs for my negligence. ;]
