Could dreadnoughts stay in the shipyard until battles start?

It would be nice if dreadnoughts could stay in the shipyard until location battles start. We launched an attack on a neutral location and it takes a whole day to ‘get there’ and meanwhile the shipyard is empty. So, corporation members can not look at or equip her. I thought the dreadnoughts can jump to different locations in an instant. Why do they need the long traveling time then?

P.S.: This is our second attempt to capture a location since the first one failed miserably due to the lack of available crew at the time the battles took place. So, our dreadnought is always on her way to somewhere and we can not look at her or take pictures of her and stuff like that. I haven’t seen her full grown yet.  :fed003:

Primitive technology. We were being told that the jump will be instantaneous. Luckily, Iridium cost is low for such jumps, but it’s still makes no sense.

Dreadnoughts should have the ability to jump or create a wormhole to any point in place in the known Star Conflict Universe. However, it should be different only in cases, if the warp jump ability got damaged or destroyed.

… equip her. […] our dreadnought is always on her way […] we can not look at her or take pictures of her […] I haven’t seen her full grown yet.

Your dreadnought is a “she”? She looks stunning by the way you speak of her  Ahhhh puberty… They fly out of the nest so quick…

Yes, and she has a secret name.
