The title says it all.
For my friends who ask, “I am shooting the enemy, right?”
I am not colour blind myself, though I have been approached by people who have suggested things such as added symbols to differentiate between enemy/ally ships and to show beacon ownership.
I invite anyone who has ideas on how to make the HUD easier to interpret to post below.
