In short
“launcher.exe” -> “StarConflictLauncher.exe” or “Star Conflict Launcher.exe” (Yes, the latter one is the same name as the shortcut you create on desktop when installing the game)
“game.exe” -> “StarConflictGame.exe” or “Star Conflict Game.exe”
My problem
- Many Trojan has named “game.exe” to lure people to execute it. Due to the game execution file named “game.exe” too, I cannot bypass the game from any security I has by add file name to exception list because those Trojan will have the bypass too.
- I am using Layer 7 QOS on my PC. I cannot create priority specially for this game because it has common name. If I do, any “launcher.exe” and “game.exe” would has that special priority too. Result this game launcher will download update slower than other game’s update because other games has Layer 7 QOS prioritize as highest and most game release update in the same day.
The 2nd problem is my own problem but I think the 1st problem will affect to any people using Windows. It is easy change and it will make your product look more profession.(I think the current one is look like a student project.)
