Sorry Fox, but you make an agreeable and nice suggestion this time. While maybe not so useful for inties/figther, I see a clear advantage for frigates or some special builds.
Hopefully the normal conditions of cargo drone’s restrictions still apply?

I’m talking about actual loot drone mechanics @ gates. That’s how they work.
No, it isn’t. If you send back a resource, the resource gets sent back at a cost from its sell value. Credit trash is just credits. Artefacts are just iridium. Voucher items are just vouchers. Blueprints are sent back as blueprints. I do not know where you got this idea from.

Looooooong ago, they didn’t exist. The happened when Invasion happened and they’ve always functioned the same to my knowledge.

Not everyone want to spent 1+ minute just to deliver a few items.
Not everyone want to cross several groups of enemies to find one.
