Can you please implement this [Matchmaking Que]

Can you please steal this design from the other team in your company ?

They just removed population listings, tier occupancy distribution by players, occupancy by regions and overall player count, when the game was “officially” released.

Why do you think they will add this?

I must say, that I am really intrigued, why this game is not yet advertised…

I hope they will massively improve current system.

I can.

I can.

psychic?  :005j:

I can.

Then it’s probably my phone.

+1 to OP suggestion

They took down the player count in queue because of some lag issues.

I assume it poles too often for the already poor bandwidth that is available for there servers.

I’ve crazy idea on how to resolve that issue.

They could take the money I pay for the game and invest it into more bandwidth.

I have played few WT games today.
And it was for some bonus currency in another game. (Thus my question about lack of advertisement for SCon in Dev questions).
I find it refreshing and may play that for awhile.
The odd thing is that they have around 25,000 players online vs ?,000 in SCon.
But everywhere I go I see WT ads. Being Armorgames, being other sites. Even Facebook. I have to browse more yet to see SCon ad.

But let’s stay on topic.
I will be glad to see something like that.
It is pretty much hit and miss now. This weekend I wanted to level a r13 ship to save 5M for r15 I may never use, cause I already have all r15 I want to use. Well, I ended up in 2v2 beacon capture (realistic) game. My guy was semi-AFK and because of low radar range (low synergy ship) I literally saw none of the enemy team in the entire game.
I went and captured the 3 beacons (the !@#$ came for the last one on recon to screw my meteor achievement).
If I knew this will be the match I would’ve rather switched tier and played more fun match.

I agree, why do you think EVERYONE is adbandoing high tiers and going to T3?

I agree. I do not know this from WT, however other games that use tier systems or instant matchmaking, may it be F2P or otherwise, and some of them are steam top 10 titles, others are niche products, but transparency to the user is a good tone and respect to the players’ time.

It’s better to be honest about low activity.

So to compare what you can see in those titles (not everything, but tailored down to the games’ needs)

 - information about where you are in the search, and how many people joined the lobby for next game

 - information, on how many people are waiting in which tiers, at any point in the queue

 - split information on total users, and users waiting in which tiers

extreme forms like planetside even made a game out of the queue

Displaying such information gives players the ability to meet, if the population has certain tendencies. Players can therefore decide, to enter different areas of the game, to reduce their waiting times. They can also decide as groups to cancel their activities when they see others starting doing things they wanted to do anyway.

In Conflict, such things would be highly benefitial imho, especially since we have Invasion, multiple PvP Tiers, custom games, PvE, and modes like Sector Conquest; and also “Squads” which influence your MM.

If you have good transparency, the players can adjust themselves. Squads can change to different tiers, if they see there is stuff going on. A player can decide to enter a PvE queue for a certain level, because he sees people waiting there. And so on.
