I’m here to suggest to add bots to the “tiny” T5-matches again. It’s not too bad that the bots have been removed for matches with “many” players but a 2v2 is just no fun, there’s no “battlefield-feeling” with life around the players. Maybe add 2 (or more) bots to matches with less than 10 players (5 per side).

No… Pls no. I get what you are saying about small matches but we just got bots taken out because they just made it worse. I even tend to enjoy the small matches when they are against players all with equal skill. I would counter your suggestion with keeping bots out and having MM match all players SR evenly in small matches.

not really, you already have to wait ~5 minutes for a 2v2-match. too few people are playing T5 it seems

Depends. On your timezone, your playtimes & Sector Conquest, during SQ almost nobody is flying T5 PvP, moar bots, especially in high tiers it would destroy the gameplay.
I suggest follow things. Any time if sector conquest is online you should play it. T5. (Mostly) bigger teams. (Mostly) short queue (compared to T5 PvP).
If this is not avaible you should try another tier or PvE / Invasion.
I prefer T3 cuz the fun, the que, my ships & the balance.
And the fact that you can perfectly squad up there to 4 man squads.
I like small battles as well as big ones. I like small battles because it’s all about speed, outmaneuvering opponents, etc. When you finally meet then it’s all up to skill. No one to help you then. Feels like Spy vs. Spy

Long answer: Do not dare to cry about not having bots in pvp again. I would rather prefer playing 1v1 all the time than having bots again in the game.
Since I knew about the absence of bots in tier 5 “high skill” games, I’m not playing any other tier, except for some tier 3 to get used to the tier 3 module timings again (I’m too used to tier 5 I suppose).

not only that there’s no action on the battlefield with so few players, bots often act more intelligent than players and go for targets instead of senseless deathmatching
T5 needs MORE players. its so pathetic I have been stuck down to T3/4 for a LONG time.
There needs to be not so much of a gap between the T4 and T5 ships. That’s probably what is contributing the problem

Bots are really annoying. In small matches, the random ship it picks can make or break a game, which is entirely silly. They ought to be removed entirely, not placed back into small matches.

yep, the implants are the main reason why noone uses T4-ships in pvp and nearly noone who only has t4-ships uses them in pvp. the rank 13-implant is just too important for example. the long mm-time is pretty annoying but sometimes it’s <2 minutes. i don’t get why most people prefer t2/t3-pvp tho. it’s funny sometimes but often it’s either just “Ace”-farming or you get a squad with 1600±rating in the other team

Concerning T4 ships in T5 games. From rank 11 you have all the passive slots you need to handle rank 15 ships. I really really enjoy playing tier 4 ships vs tier 5, since I can get slayer of immortal medals by the hundreds, and it is really easy to handle them.
Not having the rank 13 and rank 14 implants is a small handicap, but easily overcomed.
Anyway, since they removed the bots from high rank 15 games, I’m just playing rank 15. So happy to have the bots removed.

*Ahem* Anyway, yeah I have to agree with you. But I have to educate you why people stay in T2/3. 1. Its the most populated. 2. You can use some decent prenium ships and get alot of FS to put towards your T4/5 ships. Also, most people have full purple T3 ships, so a squad can nearly turn the battle themselves.

Yeah balance in T5 Sec Con is very important. PVP is slow but the sec con can get hectic real fast with back to back games.
Best thing ever - 12 Sec Con games in 1 hour.
