Sometimes people get distracted or whatever. Can you make the “You are the captain, try not to die” red and flashing, at least something? Yesterday I wasn’t paying attention before the battle, and because of synergy grind there are matches where ship choice is decided by synergy and little more. I at least choose the right ship but didn’t realize I was captain until strategies changed, if you know what I mean. In any case, can you make the notification for the captain blatantly obvious? If I get at least one upvote(you know who!), that’d be great.
Maybe a voice notification would be good.
Some people might mute for music or whatever, bright flashing red, including in the first maybe five seconds of battle is best all around.
Actually, why don’t they choose captain 20secs before game starts instead of 10secs. This give you a lot more time to plan and choose ships.
We need this. Maybe, make the Captain icon flash in the chosen player’s face while we’re at it.

When you’re selected as captain, instead of the classical map background with that little font, make it turn to a red or black wallpaper with the “You’re the Captain” in big size, white or yellow, in the middle… Nobody could miss that.

And I see it a lot in T1/T2 where captains just go into the enemy camp like they aren’t the captain

The main problem is when the original captain gets a DC and a new is picked during the battle.
There must be a BIG FAT WARNING!!!

Perhaps he wanted the “Cap Eat Cap” medal? Lol, hilarious anyway, we really need a better/bigger notification, to avoid that kind of things
