Automate repetitive actions

Before/after every battle you typically 

  • click contracts
  • click each available contract, click again to sign
  • if you win, click the loot points with a timer on each of them
  • click messages
  • click each individual reward message, click again to accept the rewards

 
All of this is terribly tedious, boring and wastes a lot of time I’d rather spend playing. 
 
Give me an option to do it all automatically please. 

  • Add a checkbox - checked by default - to individual contracts to “automatically accept” (so I can ignore individual contracts if I want to, e.g. because I’m not using the required weapon). 
  • Loot automatically. In the rare cases that there’s a chance for an item, you can still pop up that 10%/30% choice window
  • Auto-accept any and all rewards. There is absolutely no reason to put them in messages that I need to manually accept. Show a summary of what was looted on the battle result message (or a separate one) instead.

THIS. Totally unnecessary time-sink. Such was present in the past games when hardwares wasnt powerful enough etc. i mean cmon we are living in 2k13 and still need doing these things manually ?

 

Also WTB Forward and Thruster toggle keys.

My thoughts would be…

 

  1. Contracts are all active automatically. This prevents what I call “malicious matchmaking”. For example, I have had situations where my Contracts were essentially “capture a beacon”, “capture two beacons” and “capture two beacons in a battle you win.” Matchmaking very helpfully put me in Combat Recon, Detonation, Detonation, Detonation, Combat Recon and Detonation.

 

If all contracts are active when off cooldown, then you don’t have to worry about whether you’ve picked the wrong ones or not - you just complete them as and when the opportunity arises.

 

  1. Loot and contract rewards are automatically assigned after a match, like it used to be in 0.7. The mail system should not be used to handle looting.

I’m actually experiencing looting-RSI injuries some evenings. That and having to open mails to accept loot (I will never understand why we’re just not given the credits and items without first opening our mail) are the main reasons my mouse is on the receiving end of severe click-abuse. I’m pretty sure it calls abuse-hotlines when I walk out of the room.

I dont mind getting mails about equipment I picked up in loot, but if the mail is just credits for the junk loot, just give me an announcement of my winnings and be done with it!

I just had a great idea

put in a “agent assistant” that you give a % of your credits for doing the repetitive clicks. 

 

so you could say, ya put the check in that box that says 
“Hire agent to perform the petty tasks of assigning your contracts and collecting your loot mail”

 

make it priced so its not worth doing unless you are loaded and/or already understand the mechanics of the game
