This is not a solo game, it is a team based game. And yes, I can kill a LRF or any engineer (except the styx) with a cov ops between their friends and with a bit of luck, escape unharmed.
Now THIS is a problem, not attack drones.
Drones are fine. You can’t keep them on yourself, because the first missile from an interceptor kills them (what’s up with the engie drones anyways? why are they so friggin fragile?), so you have to manage them constantly. And there is a good chance you won’t have them at hand when you need them. It’s a skillful process, and i love it. Doing something other than sitting and being a healbot.
So, the same answer to all: Skill and Brains are OP, not the thing itself…
This is a bullshit answer though. To investigate balance, you have to pit similarly skilled people against each other. If someone can beat someone more skilled consistently, the tool he is using is OP. The thing that this game is a team game and there are roles and team compositions makes it even more hard. So no, skill is not an answer to everything. Just because some skilled player can make something work against less skilled players does not prove anything.
