"at" mentions

It would be nice for the game to be able to offer auto-completion for “at-mentions”, such as Twitter and popular business chat software do.  Understandably, it might introduce unwanted strain on the servers for this to be a server-side api.  Therefore, what I suggest is to have it autocomplete from the user’s…

(1) Chat logs, so anyone who was recently speaking in global can be at-mentioned.

(2) Friends, followed, recruits lists.

(3) Corporation roster

Finally, it would be nice to support multiple at-mentions, such as “hey [@Milfeulle](< base_url >/index.php?/profile/236752-milfeulle/), [@SaladHate](< base_url >/index.php?/profile/252225-saladhate/), let’s get a wing together for a tournament?” – so that it would “ping” them both similar to how a direct chat would do.

This is a great idea, facebook might be a good start as well, i guess.

Yeah that’s great! or do like other cli’s do and do something like:

/w Milfeulle && /w SaladHate let’s get a wing together for a tournament

ofc the above in cmd would say nothing at all to Milfeulle but I think you get the gist. ![:D](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/006j.png “:D”)

/w Millfeulle, SaladHate MESSAGE with a comma between the names. this all depends on what language they are using. C# clearly would be easiest though

Can we throw away the whole chat system and put a jabber or something?

Or nothing, since communication is not present anyway :Đ lol

A twitter feed or better a news board, it could work for corp cominications, but for some reason there aren’t external data loaded into the game client. I hope we all get a better chat, the team could then send a message when the events are about to start in twitch. ![:006:](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/006.png “:006:”)
