Not entirely sure how it was earned to be honest. I’m guessing extracting artefacts, earning monocrystals and killing aliens counted, but I’m not sure how “fleet strength” or “ship modules” was calculated.
I guess that just by increasing your fleet str and upgrading modules you were contributing to this.
It was just an excuse to give players 50% extra synergy for who knows how many days, but as always people don’t like what they get for free ╮(─▽─)╭
The arguments against “free” rewards generally come into three categories:
Just because something is free does not mean it is good. You wouldn’t thank people for pissing through your letterbox just because they promised not to charge you for it.
But this is 50% more synergy in battles, there’s literally 0 reasons to complain about it. People doing that only deserve to get nothing next time. And that’s what you got for complaining about the free premium day on the 5th day reward.

Wooooah what? That was going to come to me in like two hours! And I was looking forward to getting the credit bonus, because I need that more than synergy right now.

Regarding this “Fleet Power” section of the event; can we get a little more clarity as to what is expected? Is it that the entire community’s fleet strength has to increase by x amount?

It is a counter of people buying Rank 7-15 ships if I’m not mistaken. No need to max them out.

I’m saving it for my Jarl and Inquisitor S so I can get them battle ready ASAP when they unlock.
It seems to me the developers and testers are having a fun with the Alien thing going on. I have only level 5 ships and I don’t think I am participating but who can tell. I searched the forums and still have no idea about what the counter is for and how to get 50% module something or what ever. I think the developers know the answer but are only giving out bits and pieces thinking if they tell to much there will be no surprise. But if I am participating I am not in 100% because I am bad at riddles and have completely no idea what is going on.

Well the current counter is for gathering monocrystals (from the daily “yellow exclamation mark” missions in Invasion). So any monocrystals you gather will contribute to the counter.
Thanks for your response. Are monocrystals artifacts? How do you get them? how will they help and help for what? Where do I find all this info? Got more . . .
The yellow exclamation missions are to escort a transport that is constantly getting killed by the aliens, so no chance to get that done. I quit trying it after dying 15 or so times at Iridium Haul. Are the “Invasion Missions” something different? I do not see them. How do I find them?

You get a new yellow mission every day for each faction (so three per day in total). Sometimes escort a transport, kill a “boss”, find some loot etc. There are lots of other types of mission anyway, not just the escort ones. If you complete one of these missions you get credits, synergy and monocrystals. You get 2 monocrystals per mission without a premium license, and 3 with one. So it is possible to get 6 monocrystals per day without a licence by completing the yellow missions for all three factons, and 9 per day with a licence.
These monocrystals can then be used to build Mk5 weapons or the secret project ships (t5). I wouldn’t worry about those too much if you are just starting out in the game.
Kreeshtar’s 3 posts show IMO what one of the biggest hurdles of this game. Unless your have been around for at least a year or even 2 NOTHING is explained
or readily apparent.

Well most of the information is available on the English forum I think, and if not there are always people willing to help.
Nutz, I think you are also very frustrated with the lack of communication. Millanbel, reading post after post to eke out a puzzle piece isn’t my idea of how to spend an afternoon.
I have read a lot of the forum and I am reading more people have no idea what is going on. Why not have a paragraph somewhere explaining a few things. I know this is a free game but if I could see an end to giving you dollars maybe I would give you some.
Also Millanbel, I do the missions everyday and have never received a mono crystal. I am not sure where they come from, should I be looking for them? Or are do they just populate. Most of the missions give vouchers and credits or synergy. Some give a plate or more credits. I don’t see missions that give out mono crystals.

Go to Workshop → Components → Ship Parts
and look to the right. In the “ingredients” list for Exterior Structure, you’ll see second from the right Alien Monocrystal. And it will tell you how many you have.
Could you post a print screen of your next yellow exclamation mark mission? I’m surprised that you do not see in the reward that it gives you 2 or 3 monocrystals for completing it.
