The ability for corporation CEOs and Vice Presidents to gift items and money to specific players would be amazing. I have held two competitions in my corporation to promote growth amongst my members and both I have made the reward a steam gift item such as a mercenary pack or more recently; a ship.
The ability for corporation owners to send gifts to members using their own personal funds or corporation funds would be awesome.
Currently it is not planned to introduce any kind of trading feature, but if we ever decide to add it, we will do it for all players. The system you suggest would be heavily unfair to the majority of players.
And for giving rewards to members for exceptional performance or as rewards for competitions.
It’s better than “congrats, you won! Sorry but you don’t get anything, go home.”
And if only players do some fun tournament without having a CEO or VP? Noone of them will be able to give any rewards. Therefore it would be unfair to limit such a feature to CEO and VP only.

Because there is Steam? Which allows you already to gift DLCs.
If you really want to gift somebody something, go buy a PSC and give him the code, even if it would be nice, it has it’s disadvantages. And there are enough possibilities to gift somebody.

This is not what I mean by gifting and you know it.
It would make sense to introduce it for everybody, so that this way, if you do hire players from other corporations to do things for you (say, defend a sector), then you can gift players outside of the corporation.
Would you send someone a massive bunch of monocrystals and not expect cash from it?
The devs have said no to trading since the very beginnning.
Just be thankful we are able to donate iridium to the corp! That was already taking a big risk! But the devs have impemented enough sinks in the form of dreadnought upgrades, increasing cost of attacks, and limited storage space, so this can’t be exploited (apart from farming rewards with alt accounts and phoney corps)
It’s a free to play. How can a trading system not undermine the game’s ability to gather resources to keep going? Anyone is thinking in the “game side of this story”, or just having ideas? Also, it seems very odd that such implementation would be beneficial to the players in general. It would basically turn the game into a pay to win whatever. Or maybe I’m missing the point. The game is based on teamwork. Filling roles and that goes along with sharing, learning and teaching. Trading would not only increase the amount of work and information traffic, but also would turn the game into something more like Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous or Eve. Personal opinion, as everything I stated here: not a good idea fo SC. This game is good at it’s own thing. It has problems. They’ll be fixed. Exercise patience. You wanna reward your corporate mates? share information with them, give them a promotion and some responsibility with some authority.
