I suggest that having any alien-themed items equipped will change your engine colour to green. Just for fun because who doesn’t like having a green trail I mean cmon.
The engine trail should also turn green if the alien coating is applied.

Good suggestion, but there is one problem.
Skins only alter the appearance of ship, and not any other features, like engine trails. Still, it can be done.
I think we can manage something out on it by Autumn update ”)
Hmm… I see what you are up to. In OS it can be used for blending in the background as an Alien ship and make other players to not pay attention to you. +1
Why should a module alter the engine exhaust? Sorry but this is false.
If something change the engine trail then it should be tied to the modules in the engine module slot(s) itself.
