add an option to automatically salvage Mark 2 and 4 Kits

I always have problems with cargo space.

 

When I am over the cap, over 1500 cargo slots, I always receive my excess cargo in a mail. I find it annoying, so I usually destroy a parcel.

It makes it harder, if I am not the Squad Leader and the other guy is spamming launch button, before I can empty some space, because of someone’s impatience.

I don’t want to do that for myself.

It doesn’t bother me, if it stays, of course. I only want an additional function. I believe it is needed.

 

SOLUTION?

Simple!

Add in-game OPTION to “automatically salvage or convert Mark 2 and Mark 4 Kits”!

What will it do? It will automatically salvage or convert any Mark 2 and Mark 4 Kits into resources.

This can be done in two ways:

First option:

  • this only occurs, when and if you cargo space is full, above 1500 cap limit. (it means that any Mark 2/4 Kits will only convert to resources, which do not consume any cargo space)

Second option: (recommended)

  • this always occurs, regardless of your cargo space or your intentions. (you can always disable such an option in the in-game menu later)

Optional:

Auto-loot system is nice as well, especially if you want to start your next battle ASAP, for people who don’t care about the loot spots, nor the time wasted on looting them, without skipping such process.

Below Server options we should get next options:

Automatic or Auto-salvaging - Mark 2 Kits

Automatic or Auto-salvaging - Mark 4 Kits

Optional:

Auto-looting or Auto-loot during trophy looting screen (either instantly - all at once, or periodic (automatic - without user’s intervention)

There’s already a salvage option with mk4 kits, you can immediately salvage them when you get them in the trophy search. Also, what’s the problem with having them in your inbox? If you were planning to make some space before getting the kits, you still can empty some slots, get the kits from the inbox and then salvage them. I don’t see the problem.

An option in setting to automatically sell/salvage drops would be quite nice. But of course it should be off by default.

An auto-loot feature would also be amazing, as I’ve sugested before.

It can accelerate resource management. Since it’s optional it should benefit only players who activate it, without disturbing others. It may not be the most urgent task, but I understand its importance. Given that resource management is done on the game servers … I think this could benefit the game with a lower load/conections on the servers. Instead of having to perform various actions to sell a kit, this kit will be sold automatically.

Indeed. According to this, the suggestion will save player from couple of mouse clicking, but at the same time will cost lots of free server space.

You mean to say that it will cost less free server space, because you actually don’t keep the resource in your Armory, but it’s converted into resources?
